Nah. My father got his PhD from UC in monetary theory. Friedman was his major professor. Keynesian eco was proven to be a failure (money workshop 1957) in the long term because the multiplier effect was unstable.

Supply-side has been proven to be a failure over the course of three presidents and twenty years.

That site appears quite biased.

At least with the money workshop at U of C they used impartial models/mathematics to reveal the fault with Keynesian economics. The website you showed just seems to be about bashing the record of three Rep. presidents.........................and at the bottom of the page there's a link to Robert Reich. Hmmmmm.

How Robert Reich illegitimatize this info? Where is this bias?

You go ahead and find an "unbiased" source with factual numbers to contest this. Then we'll talk. M'kay?

Because he's a believer of Keynes.

Why would I contest the efforts of a money workshop that my father took part in that proved (therefore is fact) Keynesian economic principal was a failure.

so a VAT? The lower class and middle spend more of their income as a percentage than the wealthy, so that would be a large tax increase.

He should've gotten his advice from the University of Chicago School of Economics i.e. Milton Friedman economics. Harvard retards like Robert Reich spew craptastic Keynesian bizarro world economics that is proven to be false.

Guys like Robert Reich, while serving under Clinton, left the Bush Administration with a trillion dollar budget surplus. Yeah what the hell do they know:rolleyes:

Clinton didn't have to contend with a war in Iraq/Afghanistan/911. Nor did he contend with a housing crisis and global economic meltdown. So there goes your surplus. Reich knows squat, after all he's a Keynesian.

You mean those two wars we didn't pay for? throw in the Bush tax cuts and Medicare drug benefits and it's no wonder how we got so big a deficit

Bush didn't have to contend with a war in Iraq either, but he went ahead and invaded anyway. And he only had to contend with the housing crisis and economic meltdown (thanks to ReganBush deregulation policies) for a few moths before dumping it on Obama.

You're correct Bush didn't have to contend with Iraq however the overall war on Islamic terrorism, Afghanistan, housing crisis (blame Barney Frank, Waters, Fanny Mae) the worldwide economic meltdown took care of any domestic surplus. You people should know better.
