I think with NOTLD, it was only remade once, in 1990 by Tom Savini - there *was* a "colorized" version of it released without Romero's permission (as his film was in the public domain, or something) but it was exactly the same as the black & white NOTLD, only 1000 x more lurid-looking.

The only other film I could think of that has a NOTLD connection is Flesh Eater, which is both directed by and stars the 'main zombie' from the 1968 Night Of The Living Dead, Bill Hinzmann. It's pretty terrible, mind. :1orglaugh

But, yeah, I'll seek it out, out of curiosity, it surely can't be as bad as that Day... remake.

Well like 28 days later, the Crazies features people infected with a virus that causes them to become violent maniacs, not reanimated corpses like NoTLD.

True 28 days was a rip off of the original crazies, but I don't really think you can say that Romero ripped himself off by copying NoTLd.

If it's anything like 28 Days Later than I'm sure that Ill love it. 28 Days is probably one of the best zombie films ever, even though they're not technically zombies in it. I hope that The Crazies can live up to my expectations cause my roommate (who also loves zombie movies) said it was fucking sweet. I feel like they get a bad rap these days when in fact I still think they're some great cinematic works. Although I don't think The Crazies can pass 28 Days Later I'm still gonna have to check it out. Cillian Murphy is the shit though so since hes not in the crazies it wont be as good prolly haha.

LOL A "Twilight" kind of movie with zombies instead of vampires. I actually like Land of the dead. I also like Diary of the dead.
