It's sad that we actually see this as an accomplishment for the most powerful position in the world.

When the bar was set so low that a nominal amount of sanity and rational thinking is seen as praiseworthy. Trump's stupidity is part of what connected him to his base though. That's part of the reason they like him so much. They don't have to feel stupid like they do when they are forced to interact with somebody that has some intelligence. Trump helped keep their feelings from being hurt. He also told them what they wanted to hear regardless of if it was true or not, and they didn't have to deal with any pesky facts. The so called "facts don't care about your feelings" and "everybody doesn't get a trophy" crown didn't want competence or reality. They wanted a cheerleader.

The funny part of this is that they have spent the better part of the last 4 years and 5 months saying this about their opponents. The whining about people not caring about the loser's 75 million votes is a perfect example of both mantras. I think they want a pugilist more than anything else.

In republican speak that means democrats are going to come to republicans homes and take their guns!!!!
Just like the other 100+ times in the past republicans were falsely led to believe democrats were gonna steal republican guns.
All gun owning republicans should immediately buy at least 10,000 rounds and 10 new guns.
Hide some of them inside your walls, in the backyard in the ground, or in an empty field where no one would look.
That way if democrats come for republican guns, republicans will be ready to protect their guns with their guns.

Ace appears to be a Republican and they are sticklers for facts. The numbers do not lie, Obama was the best salesman for the firearms industry. I'm really surprised they dislike him so much. The industry made a fortune off him. The NRA filed bankruptcy during a Republican administration.

On another topic. I do wonder at what time stockpiling ammo is redundant to the point of stupidity after a certain point. I've known some hardcore pro gun people. I'm related to a lot of them, and even for them after a certain amount there just isn't a point anymore in any logical sense. What happened to all that ammo everybody got the last time a perceived nonsensical crisis caused some run on it, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that,...Of course the people I know also are sane and don't percieve one conspiratal appocolypse or another specifically aimed at them all the time. They also don't piss it away through mindlessly plinking cans at eight meters away all day so they can feel macho, so what do I know?
