It's okay anytime. If someone has done something worthwhile and contributes to society, showing a modicum of respect is de riguer. And I support that. I was gonna say, I was about to neg rep you for that. And neg isn't racist either.

For the slow and the bleeding heart types here and around the world who saw this story unfold, yes, America can be a violent place at times or depending on where you live.

But not getting shot by a police officer is easier than it may sound. 1) Don't rob a convenience store. 2) Don't walk down the middle of a busy street holding up traffic.
3) When a police officer shows up and tells you to get off the street, don't repeatedly punch him in the face then reach for his gun. 4)When already shot and are being told to get down on the ground, don't charge said police officer.

Follow those simple steps and you should be ok. Oh and never make sudden movements.

Joda Cain, 17, is accused of murdering his great-grandmother, Jacqueline Bell, 71, at her home in Portland, Oregon then stealing her car to flee the area, reports The Oregonian.

Cain’s mother, Brandi Bell-Gibson, sent her troubled and “unruly” son to her grandmother for a fresh start in Oregon and is shocked by the allegation.

“I lost my legs… I just fell,” Bell-Gibson told the Oregonian. “I’m thinking this is a nightmare, and I’m going to wake up. It’s horrible.”

Cain and his cousin, Micus Ward, 19, allegedly killed Bell after a party they threw at her home. When Cain was planning the party, friends asked him would the noise bother his great-grandmother and he allegedly said, “Don’t worry, I’ll hit her. I’ll knock her out.”

Michael Brown seemed to have the opposite disposition. When he was out of his parents eyesight or if it would not immediately get to them was when he would do his dirt. So the chances of him being on that picture would be low because he would not want his parents (espec. Dad and/or stepdad) to see it. I grew up with a few Mike Browns (Black, White & Hispanic) and when the parents were called or found out what they did, their was a total change in their demeanor.
