We're looking for a couple new mods who can volunteer a few hours a week to help keep the board free of spam, sorting out solved threads, and doing my (and @Petra's) bidding.

Some duties may include:
  • Keeping the board a nice, and spam free, board.
  • Moderating posts from new members
  • Moving stray threads into the proper areas.
  • Answering the totally not silly questions and help guide new members
  • Setting ID threads to "solved" status

We're looking for the following qualities:

  • A regular board user and visitor who's been here for the past 3-6 months.
  • No infractions or bans for the past 6 months.
  • Good english well. Speaking good. Yes yes. Great success at language. (Speak good English)
  • Understanding and knowing of the board rules and guidelines
  • The ability to be flexible with each situation as it arises (seeing both black and white and right and wrong)
  • The ability to remain unbiased so you can carry out your duties, even if this means reprimanding "board friends"
  • The ability to follow the directions of FreeOnes Team Members and take constructive criticism when needed to improve yourself
  • The ability to perform moderation duties around of 5-6 hours a week. Don't get your badge and disappear on us.

Is this you? Well, apply by sending an email to adam@freeones.com and let us know:

1.) Where do you live? What time zone?

2.) How many hours a week do you think you can commit to board moderation?

3.) Are there any days you absolutely can't get online to moderate?

4.) Are you currently a moderator on any other board or have you moderated in the past?

5.) Why do you want to become a moderator?

6.) Your favorite model. Yes, we want to see if you're actually reading.

Good luck!

I don't think we have a say in it, do we?

We indeed have no say. I am still seeking days ending in Q though.

No then. Having the time consistently and predictably would be impossible.
