Suggestion/Question - Search function - 20 seconds

I suggest and ask the webmasters/moderators/whoever that registered members should NOT have to wait the 20 seconds required between searches. Right now as I post this message there are 358 (82 members and 276 guests) on this site. My guess is to help any traffic issues this interval was implemented.

Does it sound smart to let those who are members have the privilege of not having to wait 20 seconds for a new search?

Just an idea.

First, this should of been put in the Suggestion and Comment section.

Second, I know what you mean about the 20 seconds, and yes it annoys me a little but I'm sure there is a logical reason as to why it exists.

I don't think it's that big a deal...

I would say that if your life is so hectic and busy that 20 seconds is too long for you to wait for something...you need to take a deep breath and relax...

Come on guy, you don't start a new thread about the same thing in a different section. Just refer to your first thread and a mod will likely delete this one and move the other one to the proper section.

The wait is to prevent server overload. Search's take a lot of bandwidth and if Guests/Members could run searches constantly, then it would be a drag on the servers. So just sit tight, make concise searches and take your time browsing the results. :thumbsup:

It's only 20 seconds. Some sites make you wait 30 seconds or more. It's not that big of a deal really. On the plus side, it'll make sure you know what you're looking for and type it in correctly. That's just my :2 cents:

I'm using the search function many times, most of the time the 20sec to wait doesn't bother me...
anyways a small drop to 15sec could save me some time...

The 20 second delay does irritate, but I've never thought to question why it happens - I merely assumed it was a necessary function.

lol, are you joking... man, heres an idea... when u have to wait 20 seconds here is what you can do.... get up... stretch walk to the kitchen get a glass, fill it with water...... OH GOD!~ too late, the 20 seconds already went by when you got the glass...


come on guys its 20 seconds... so you search Brianna Banks and you put Biann a Baks.... and nothing comes up... so, then go to the bathroom, or possibly load a new internet page and check out sports scores for 20 seconds.....

its only 20 seconds... its not that bad

I never thought the wait was that bad. Out of hundreds of times searching I only ever had to wait a couple of times and even then I was only a second or two off. If you really can't stand waiting you could always pop in a porn disc and watch porn while you're waiting to search for porn and get the full porn experience.
