After much (persistent) cajoling from my ******** (and with tacit, silent support from her ******); I took a deep breath, drove over to their office and signed the papers.
Sometime November/December of this year, I will accompany a group of medical specialists ---- Nurses, Doctors, Surgeons, Pharmacists ---- and other lay folk on a medical, humanitarian mission to Vietnam.
We intend to spend time in the non-urban areas as these areas lack infrastructure and basic health care.
My ******** wants to come with me but there seems to be some "issues" with DOJ and the State Department with her passport. Trying to get that sorted out.
I guess that's all for now. So if I disappear sometime during the end of this year, y'all know where I'll be!
