Socialist Bernie Sanders To Announce 2016 Candidacy

Too bad Scandinavia is so fucking cold!

Its funny to me...I had posted about Denmark being the country with the happiest citizens and I got rebuttal about happiness not being relevant if you have to pay more in taxes lol I cannot imagine being miserable and paying lower taxes as more desirable but apparently it is to some. But I also can't imagine everyone being healthy and educated and living without fear of being a paycheck away from homeless a bad thing. Getting 6 weeks of vacation a year and being paid overtime wages for every hour over 35 in a week has to sound pretty good to those people working 80 hours a week for 40 hour wages because they have been given a management title. Right now the republicans are fighting a law that requires employers to pay anyone making less than $51k a year overtime wages even if they are managers. So your boss can promote you to manager and give you a $25 a week raise and then require you to work unlimited hours at the office and take work home and give you a cell that you are required to answer 24/7 and not pay you a cent in overtime.

And yet they can't figure out why they are losing blue collar voters by the millions?

As Denmark is less than 140 miles north, and northern Germany and Denmark are VERY close... People trying to wipe all that goes way better in Denmark than in the USA are just making fools of themselves. The analogy of the school bully vs the geek is really fitting. It takes quite an effort for the brute to understand - and admit - he just does things basically wrong.

The more I see, the more I like him. I wonder if that'll last.

The problem is if Sanders ever gets into power will he still live up to his political views against the billionaires, the banks and the trades?

That IS a key issue. Obama promised much against these trade deals, now he did a U-Turn. Not the only one.

Yet Sanders has a very different record, as posted above.

I must say the more I read & hear from him, the more I like him. Actually I quite regret my first comment on his decision to run and I even came to the concluysion tha he would make a better candidate than Warre, mostly because, unlike Warren, he doesn't sound like Netanyahu when he speaks about Israel...
Actually, I think Warren belongs more in Sanders' cabinet (Treasury for example) or maybe even as Bernie's VP

Sanders should make Warren his VP...Oh damn beat me to it
Imagine how crazy Fox News would go if Bernie was president and Warren was his VP. At least they would no longer say that Obama was the worst US president in History...

No they wouldn't, but the viewers would. Fox would have their highest ratings ever. They could spew their nonsense and have enough show material to never have to rerun anything 24/7. Can you imagine the things they could make up in that situation? WOW

Yeah I can see the Redeye crew having a field day for sure. Specially Gutfeld...he'd be saying Idk "Oh that Sanders guy...old socialist gets worst jobs" Smh...

It is the most important issue of any politician running for office...As much as I admire Sanders tough stance against the billionaires, the banks and against the establishment. Once he gets into power he is going to have to break those promises...there is no way he can live up to them. No way in hell. I'm just watching a documentary on Bill Clinton and during his Presidency, promised the American people new jobs and what have you but he couldn't do it he had to break that promise on live TV because the US had a huge deficit that needed to be fixed. Of course Clinton was able to rebound and the country got back on it's feet in later years but in the beginning it must've been just devastating hearing someone who you felt would live up to those promises only to have it shattered and it'll prolly be the same for Sanders or any of the candidates running. The record keeps on skipping...

Actually FNC's ratings are on the decline during Obama's tenure.

We'll even use the Daily Kos http://m.dailykos.com/story/2014/05...irteen-Years-And-That-s-Not-Their-Big-Problem

Cable news is crap. The only people who watch it are old people. The average Fox News viewer overall is 68.8, while the average ages of MSNBC and CNN viewers were 62.5 and 62.8. Translation: Cable news is a retirement community
