Siri won best newcomer 2012. Any thoughts?

I was shocked. I honestly thought you would have won. You are always on this board and as for Siri, I have no idea who she is. Has she ever post on here before?
This has nothing to do with the *posts* on this board, but it has a lot to do with the *support* she had.
As Roald already told, Siri is *well known* on FO , just NOT on the board, and the board is a tiny piece of FO.
AND :
Siri has about 6000 followers on twitter, Harley has about 10% of it , .... so for me it´s no wonder at all.
The result from Harley for this 1st year is just OUTSTANDING ! Outstanding POSITIVE .
I wonder with this lil amount of followers on twitter she still made 3rd . That was EXCELLENT !

It would be nice if there was a way to multiply votes received by time spent and OCSM posts made on the board. I know that would result in tons of junk posts by OCSMs, but maybe a review of substantive posts could be done, or something.
The win of Siri can be seen as a big positive signal to all chubby girls, it's a proof that thickness & curves is favorised against thinness & flatness (34B boobs looks ridiculous against Siri's 40HH hooters). She showed up indeed a great potential but need to keep working harder and harder, this nomination can be seen as an inducement for the rest of her career. In the current state of her career, she will never win the graal, the main miss freeones contest, and be standing next to girls like sophie dee or vicky vette in people's collective minds... (but knowing that vicky vette won the title at 46 years old, Siri still have a lot of time ahead her
To resume, Siri mainly need to stick out of her blog and promote herself via every social network available.
Then, there is some request for her doing anal, ir, dp, gangbang etc. I think & hope it will come in the right time...
What I'm commentating here is based on the choice of thousands voters, I'm not giving here a 100% personal opinion. :2 cents:

The contest was open to everyone. The same way we help the ladies in other contests they are in, other groups do the same. Those of us who are members the points are weighted. While I may have a favorite(s), I do not see any reason to besmirch anyone who won the contest. :2 cents:

There are far too many members on this site who take credit for a girl winning a category and bitch and moan about the injustice when the girl they support doesn't win.

instead of chubby I should have said something like "with meat on her bones" or "with flesh in the right place"
Check out Harley's and Siri's BMI, Harley is in the very near limit of underweight (18.5), Siri is 22.9 which is in the upper part of a normal BMI (18.5 > 25).
None of them are fat or anorexic however !
And Harley, I'm sorry to have disappointed you.I do not question the work you did, I'm sure you are an awesome girl as you wouldn't be so popular otherwise.
34B isn't ridiculous, even compared to Siri's 40HH. Both have one thing in common : They are 100% natural
What's ridiculous compared to Siri's 40HH is fake 36E or 38DD, particulary if the boob job's missed like Lisa Ann's or Aletta Ocean' ones.

Siri won by a vote count. A weighted vote count. Us folks on the boards had lots of newcomers posting like monsters and we voted for them. In order for Siri to win, she had to drag a ton of new people to Freeones to cast votes and she did. These new members are good since they grow the community. They will spend money here and discover other models too. Nothing wrong with that. Call it a coupe if you want or a well enginered machine. But the fact remains that if Siri didn't enter this contest, her voters would not likely to have found and be active in Freeones.

LOL I see this on EVERY forum relating to a porn company. Seems to be 1-5% of the actual fans/members/customers whatever you want to call them that actually take the time to post on the forums or even know about the forums. And this handful of people start to get the mentality that the forum is representative of ALL of the girls, fans, and opinions associated with that company.
..Then they get all pissy when they make requests and don't get their way. Or when their opinion isn't weighed way heavier than the other fans opinions BECAUSE they spend so much time on the boards..
But you guys have to remember the FreeOnes forums is a small part of FreeOnes.
As for the girls themselves, they're both very sexy and obviously hard workers. Congrats to the winners and good luck next year to those that came close!
It's just a contest..life goes onThen again it's also not like the people who vote in the contest besides the members here are just some random sampling of porn fans as a whole out there either. If it was I might have a slightly easier time excepting some of the things that happen.
I also happen to think that people that are senior members here SHOULD have much much more weighted influence on the voting than some person that just comes in to vote, (like by factors of dozens if not hundreds or thousands of times the other people and not what has happened the last few years where the dedicated members here get some token benefit) because they:
1. Have a much greater chance of trying to be objective in who they choose. (Although I'm sure there are people that wouldn't)
2. Are more likely to take the contest more seriously and feel more strongly about it rather than it being a mindless button push.
3. Are more loyal to FreeOnes and are a bigger part of it's community and care about FreeOnes more.
4. Probably know more about what they are talking about as far as the contestants go on average, and know about a wider range of people.
5. Are more likely to treat the contest as something that has actual objectives to achieve and not a mindless popularity contest to see whom can funnel the most fans through the internet to it.
6. Are more likely to even consider more than a few people at each position in the first place, unlike the people that just come on to vote for a contestant that told them to do so.
7. It's called the Miss "FreeOnes" contest so it makes sense things more closely associated with FreeOnes should have a lot more say.
I guess it's similar why I think most sports MVP awards, the biggest music, movie, and television awards, awards for art, heck even the other major porn awards are chosen by a relatively small elite group of people and not the general public, which I grudgingly have to admit is probably for a good reason. Sure there have certainly been times those things have got their winners wrong, and there are also times some of the voters in the system are unfairly biased, but it's an order of magnitude better than the alternative which is basically equivalent to running it like the Wild West or letting the inmates run the asylum.
I guess it all falls on what one feels the contest should be, a fun popularity contest, or a serious award that tries to pick the best people. Maybe in a way neither side is wrong, but I would rather have the later. I also hope people that want or think it should be the former, either contestants or the fans that vote for them, never ever try and pretend it's something serious or accurate. One side wants it to be the Oscars for general adult stuff, the other wants it to be a worse version of American Idol, except the contestants even have a huge factor is artificially funneling votes to themselves.
