Siri won best newcomer 2012. Any thoughts?

I gotta admit, I thought Siri was limited to Apple products. I have never seen her on the boards though. I thought for sure that Harley Spencer was going to win

Ok, I'll bite... Considering the amount of posts you had since your OP that says something in itself I think.

I'm not going to argue Siri's victory or your thoughts and feelings as a fan of her. As fans we all have preferences for one girl or another, for whatever reasons that may be. I congratulate Siri with her title as best Newcomer 2012. And as a fan of Harley, I'm very disappointed Harley didn't win.
Being the close competition it was between Harley and Siri in every round, I don't think 'many' expected a sure outcome at all as you say. How could we? There you had these two girls in close competition for the top spot. But two different worlds as well. Siri is a beautiful girl and I'm sure she is sweet too, but I didn't even know she existed before the contest started. She joined FreeOnes March 29th 2012 (!) and made 15 (!) posts so far. Her world was and is outside FreeOnes and even during the contest I didn't get to know her! Lots of ladies would take advantage of the contest to post comments, pictures, interact, gain new fans on the board... She didn't. She sticked to her blog.
The other world is Harley's. She's gorgeous, works her ass off day and night, makes great stuff, joined almost a year ago and interacts not only on her own forum and twitter, but on FreeOnes too with comments, interaction, pictures, what not. We can reach out. We know her. She's one of us. And THAT's what I call a best newcomer!

I know the FreeOnes competition is not only about the FreeOnes community or gaining new members. I know the competition is about what we - not only the board but everybody out there - in general consider to be the best in porn. But this isn't an independent contest. It's a FreeOnes contest, organized by FreeOnes, where a girl is to be considered someone who is representative of what FreeOnes stands for. That's why it's called Miss FreeOnes and not Miss Porn. And that's what makes me sad and disappointed why Harley didn't win. A lot can be seen as a subjective view by a fan. But not this.

They are all in a big database, and their agents or themselves can put content and links on it so that we have a chance to get to know them, sure. But whether they are huge or not on that part of FreeOnes is no guarantee at all that you'll ever get to know them simply because that's the nature of the beast: every man is looking for something and you will find girls you like, and their will be girls you never heard or hear of, despite a high or low ranking. To say someone is huge is statistically correct if you consider the searching of all people on a particular girl, but it means nothing considered from a personal view. And that is how everyone is looking at it; from their point of view. That's why you have all these threads popping up with "who's the best", "who's the hottest" and so on where everyone is saying "this girl is huge for me". No one is saying "hey that girl is ranked higher then the other girl THEREFORE she MUST be hotter" (apart from some I see so I should put 'almost' in front of that sentence).

I don't know if that applies to me as well but I think I already stated in my first post that I do. It's not about the board only, I agree. Please, reread it. Exactly. It's pretty obvious how popular Siri is just by looking at her ranking in the babe section. She was only added in March and she's already in the top 100 and has appeared in the top 20 numerous times over the past few weeks. Harley's ranking is at a high of 313 at the moment....see the difference. Hey I'm all about the ladies that post on the board winning over those that don't but you can't ignore those numbers.

IMO if you want the board vote then you gotta be posting on here all year round and not just when there's a contest going on. You can see that by the success of Miss Hybrid and Briana Lee. They post on here pretty much everyday whatever is happening. That's why the board members vote for them beacuse they appreciate the effort they go to to interact with us all on here on a daily basis. Hopefully Harley will stick around and next year she'll get the board vote along with the vote of her fans outside of Freeones. But it does look like she's backed off abit on posting on here like alot of the other girls. But we'll see.

I haven't backed off of posting on here. Last weekend I was away for 4 days shooting, so couldn't post then. Since then, I've been working and in my free time, trying to relax. I haven't gone anywhere and I have been posting, just not as much lately. I think your argument that posting on the board and being interacting even when there isn't a contest going on furthers your chances of winning is a weak argument. For one, I have been on here for almost a year and I've been posting ever since I joined, not just when the contest started up. I didn't even know that there was a contest until 2 people came to me and said I should sign up. Second, Siri hardly posts, so... clearly posting on the board doesn't have a hell of a lot to do with the contest.

The win of Siri can be seen as a big positive signal to all chubby girls, it's a proof that thickness & curves is favorised against thinness & flatness (34B boobs looks ridiculous against Siri's 40HH hooters). She showed up indeed a great potential but need to keep working harder and harder, this nomination can be seen as an inducement for the rest of her career. In the current state of her career, she will never win the graal, the main miss freeones contest, and be standing next to girls like sophie dee or vicky vette in people's collective minds... (but knowing that vicky vette won the title at 46 years old, Siri still have a lot of time ahead her )

To resume, Siri mainly need to stick out of her blog and promote herself via every social network available.
Then, there is some request for her doing anal, ir, dp, gangbang etc. I think & hope it will come in the right time...

Anyway. Thank you everyone who supported me and still does. I am not going anywhere. I will continue to post on FreeOnes in the present and in the future. I do not just come around for the contest. For those of you that think that, think what you want, but you're wrong and making that assumption isn't cool. I love my fans and yes, I am disappointed that I didn't win, but life goes on. What could I expect? Who knows, maybe next year something will happen. Even though I didn't win, I've gained a lot of fans, made some friends, and I had fun.

Thanks Johan I know, round 3 is really where I got screwed. Lots of people dropped me for their #1 girls in all their categories. I'm sure if there was a spare vote, which there usually wasn't (I know Larss spared me some votes from time to time), I would've had more votes.

Dont underestimate the power sites like Naughty America and RealityKings have. When they release a new scene the searches for the model in it often goes up by quite a lot.
