Seriously, this raises a few uncomfortable questions. Who gets to decide who gets sterelised, and who does it, and who pays for it, and with what do we compensate those being sterelised?

I get what you're saying, and while my post obviously states I can't completely agree, I do very much see your point, and you are correct....but kiddie diddlers and rapists? Man, they're a special kind of fucked up dude, and studies have proven sexual offenders of that type can never be rehabilitated. Don't get me wrong, I know there are a lot of wrongful convictions, and cases where 19 year old kids get screwed over by the law, because their girlfriends are only 16 or 17...but some guys are just obviously brutal, and while sometimes I think a bullet to the head would be the best way to go...maybe living in prison for the rest of their lives knowing they have no balls, is a better way to punish them.

But why? Being a kiddy diddler isn't a genetic thing, it's something broken in that person's mind. Sterilizing them isn't going to benefit the gene pool necessarily, just prevent them from having kids. Which may be a good idea.

But sterilizing people who do bad things does not really help humanity as a whole, though it would be something that would likely feel satisfying.

I absolutely think certain people should be. I don't care if its politically correct or not, the earth is already over populated and there is no reason that child molesters, people with mental illnesses, rapests etc should have children. I also think there should be a limit on how many children a person can have. In this day and age there is no reason for people to have 5+ kids.
