I just wet them with warm water, slap on some shaving cream, then go for it with a mach 3. I tried taking a bath first once, but my skin got too relaxed and I couldn't get my razor moving. Once you get started it's pretty hard to fuck up. I trim my pubes above my dick, shave the bits of hair that grow at the base of my shaft, and level it out either side.
