Here's the thing. Pinochet was the Saddam Hussein of South America. He had thousands ****** upon his orders. He's so damned old and frail that he will probably not even survive his trial for his crimes.
Chile has done ONE significant thing that we (in the USA at least) should regard -- they reformed their social security system. I think this was well after Pinochet was out of power.
In any event, this is a topic valid of discussion, but this thread has become a trainwreck.
Let's keep it dignified here and drop the "fuck off" comments, georgez. Brino can "play nice" if you can. Let's all exercise some civility and the thread might lead to some really interesting talk.

I don't use profanity in my posts (as far as I am aware). But why is everyone so touchy about profanity?
Are we ten year olds? Is this church? (not that I go to church - that's a laugh) This is a porn chat forum. Do people think we are going to not swear? Swearing is a perfectly fine way of communicating to me. It's what the swear word means to me that matters. Not whether it is used or not.
I mean no disrespect to anyone here. But if I insult someone badly without swearing, it is okay? But if I just say 'f_ck off', then I might be ******?

Telling someone who is well respected to "fuck off" ain't really cool. He has just as much right to express his opinion and to post such on this thread as you do. While I definitely do not agree with your assessment about Pinoche-Ugarte, I have to say: to each his own.
