It matters because seeing some pro doing something sexual that we can already see in a ton of other scenes does not have the same appeal of seeing a woman who doesn't get paid to have sex on cam getting caught up in the moment. The fact that she isn't a pro and that we can't see her in more work as you say, IS the appeal.
