Scammer cam girl alert

You definitely can't sell adult items with Paypal. I know of this b/c I got in trouble selling worn panties.

Were you selling them to someone outside of the US? Because apparently according to US PayPal policy it's acceptable, but not so outside of the US.

I have had no problems with it. I've been using it for a year now. So.. you definitely can. If you look at this link right here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/article/?solutionId=38995&m=SRE
It says that if you are in the US, you can sell anything adult oriented as long as it's not digital, involving minors, or about meeting someone (escorts and such).
Plus, seeing as I use abibids to sell most of my stuff and abibids has paypal listed as a payment option, if paypal didn't accept those payments, why would they have it listed?

But Harley, what about your personal information?

What do you mean? None of my personal information gets shown to anyone when they pay me via paypal. The email I have set up for paypal is just my harley@harleyspencer.com, and I just tell buyers to go to paypal and when they click "send money" all they have to do is type in my email. Ta-da! Super easy. Some people have asked if I could send them an invoice, to which I always refuse, because when you send an invoice, that does reveal some of your personal information, which I found out the hard way once.

Ouch. Hope nothing bad happened. :(

No, not to my knowledge. He asked me if I could send him an invoice, which I didn't want to do because I didn't even know how to and I had already given him instruction for payment, yet he kept bothering me about sending him an invoice, so I did. When I went to my Sent Messages folder, I looked at it and it revealed my legal name, so I was just like.... ooohhh no! Hurried back to paypal and canceled the invoice, so I don't know if he did or didn't get the invoice or not before I canceled it. I told him flat out that I would not send the invoice due to it revealing personal information and that all he needed to do was type in my frigging email and type in the dollar amount to send. It's that easy. 3 clicks and you're done.

That's a little scary, how easy it is to accidentally give out information.

No I see that but here's they gray area:

In deciding what sexually oriented goods and services to allow, we consider:

What regulations or restrictions are placed on the purchase or sale of the product.
How the product is classified by a recognized ratings board.
Whether the product describes or depicts sexual conduct in a patently offensive way.
The dominant theme of the product material or website.
The literary, artistic, political, or scientific value of the product.
Potential medicinal or educational uses for the product.
The product’s impact on the safety of our customers.

I have been selling stuff on abibids for years without a problem. But a guy made a stupid sexual comment when he made his payment, I have never had anyone do that before..and they suspended my account. You are allowed to sell stuff but if they don't like how you describe it or how it's portrayed, then they can pull the plug. In my case, they said I was too "raunchy". They kept my money for 45 days...and I had A LOT in there which I shouldn't have had but I did. And I can't use that account anymore. Pain in the ass.

Just be careful!

Do you have a business account? If you do, then you can choose what info goes on the invoice. I was able to just have my email and business name go on it.
