I thought she did a good job under the circumstances and most people who sort of know what they're looking for can see the talent there. There are great (not that she's great per se) actors and actresses who have many many many nondescript roles before they get the quintessential role which illuminates their talent. Hasn't that been proven time and time again???

I haven't seen any of Sasha Grey's mainstream work, so I can't comment on that.

But, I agree with what you're saying, Hot Mega.
For example, Julia Roberts didn't exactly hit her Big Time Actress / Actress of the Decade status right off the bat. It wasn't until she happened upon Pretty Woman that everything just clicked for her.
