Aesthetically not ideal with their abysmal lineup but when it comes down to timely emerging stars and dead-on consistent pitching that was their formula to win and it worked. But you shouldn't try to emulate it.

No, I'm a Padre fan. The proverbial red headed stepchild of the NL West.
Hate to break it to you but your puking doesn't work on me. I'm a Mets fan, more importantly a baseball fan. I would have congratulated the Rangers if they had won as well.
So would have I. The Giants, though? As a long-time season ticket holder for the Padres, I now have to sit next to those panda hat wearing, Aubrey Huff rooting, SF Chronicle reading, Prius driving, pretentious jerkwads next season. Giants fans are bad enough when the teams sucks, but after winning a WS? Fuuuuuck.

i dont have a panda hat as i think theyre stupid as shit since he fucked up the last stretch there. i dont like Aubrey Huff as my first base hero was JT Snow growing up, and my favorite current player is Wilson. i read the Examiner as its more conservative than the chronicle, and i hate prius'.

Good taste, JT is cool. I grew up with Wil Clark as one of my favorites myself. He's still an all-time fav. I miss baseball from my youth sometimes.
