I've been saying this for the last seven years. My late stepfather absolutely hated dealing with Mayor Giuliani. Usually it was budgetary items and the FDNY pensions they butted heads over but Rudy was the only guy in New York who really had anything against my stepfather. Probably because he usually won when they dueled. But he did know Rudy was a good man who stood by his principles and tried to do what was best for his city.

I wish the same could be said for our current president. But it looks like at every turn he makes a fundamentally wrong choice. And he's arrogant about it.
