But because of the way votes count (registered vs unregistered + number of forum posts) there can easily be winners who are more like:
First Place- 1,000 votes
Second Place- 2,000 votes
Third Place- 1,200

.. and it would still make sense.

Nope !
There would be
First Place- 1,000 voters
Second Place- 2,000 voters
Third Place- 1,200 voters

But since not all voters have the same weight the actual ranking would be something like
First Place- 3,000 votes
Second Place- 2,500 votes
Third place 2,000 votes


Anyway, in my view, in you participate to the contest as a voter, it means you accept the rules, including the voting system. And for the candidates, it doesn't cost them anything, they didn't even had to register to participate, it can only be positibe for them (even if they don't win, it's always good publicity) so it would be quite rude if any of them would come and rant...

Hell to the YEAH!!! At least 90% of the lovely ladies that I have voted for, I have seen in action in their videos. In the case of Miss Hybrid(for Miss Freeones) and Mandy Flores(for Best OCSM), I have actually belonged to their websites and PAID for their videos. In some of the bigger names, like Julia Ann or Brandi Love(also been a member of her site), there is plenty of content available. As for the rest, I have chosen the ones that actually take the time to visit FO and chat with all us horny guys(and gals). Lolita Borgia, Harley Spencer, Briana Lee, and most recently Kaylee Rayne. Far too many to mention, but I'd rather support them than someone like last year's winner, who's never been on this website.

With the exception of Best Newcomer, I did just that. Monica Milf and Mercedes Ashley got votes in Most Underrated, Mandy Flores got a vote for Best OCSM, and Miss Hybrid got a vote for Miss FreeOnes 2014. Eva Notty got a vote in a tough Best MILF category...I can see myself casting a couple-few votes a day in that category.
