Mr. Daystar
In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Now I'm the opposite. Duke was about the last album I really liked, and after that, they were to "pop" for my liking. I would say one or two songe on Abacab, or Invisible Touch, but that's it.Been a big Genesis fan, ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that i didnt really understand any of their work, it was too artsy, too intellectual...it was on Duke where Phil Collins presence became more apparent...i think Invisible Touch is the group's undisputed masterpiece, its an epic meditation on intangibility, at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding 3 albums... listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford, you can practically hear every nuance of every instrument.
John...remove your dress.
Bands like Genesis, and Floyd, Yes all had the same problem, They were 24 track bands, in an 8 track world.
