I always take cold showers. I'm one of those people who is always hot. I don't think I'm a normal human. When I go to the doctor, not once has my body temperature ever been 98.6, it's always been around 99.5 degrees. Yeah, I'm awesome like that.

Actually if you want to feel cooler after a shower you should take a hot shower. It will raise your body temperature and fool the body into thinking it's cooler out than it really a little after you get out. The opposite happens with cold showers.

It doesn't have to be scorching hot, it just needs to be somewhat warmer than your body temperature.
