The saying "Don't take any Wooden Nickels" may come from the wooden nickels used at state fairs and centennials. These wooden coins were often used all over town during the fair since everyone knew they could spend them at the fair. During the last few days of the fair people would stop accepting wooden money in town because they might not get a chance to cash them in before the fair ended. In modern times the saying just means that you shouldn't accept any substitutes for "real" money. Other countries and languages have their own sayings about "Fake" money.
Usually when people get banned4life, they loose their sig and their avatar, why can I still see Poggys? Seems a little unfair to me, and makes me even more curious as to why it happened... Maybe he even requested it?...
