Question about green card.

Hi guys!

I was just wondering if anyone knows if it´s easy to get a green card to the states? Thankful for
every bit of information...

thanx!

I think they're pretty hard to get. Your best bet would be to marry an American citizen, but you have to have documented proof that you've lived with them for I think 10 years before they give you a green card.

That's not even a sure fire deal. I know several Americans who've tried taking their dutch spouse back and it's a pain in the expensive ass.

Lets put it on the easy scale...I moved from America to the Netherlands because it was easier (and cheaper) for me to get a work permit/residence permit vs. my dutch boyfriend moving to the states.

IF you want to go to the states, either find a company that will sponsor you or put your name into the diversity lottery. Every year they pull X names out of the hat for a green card.

Alternatively, you can just go down and jump the boarder vs. applying legally. It seems everyone else does it and eventually gets rewarded for breaking the law with amnesty. o_O

Plus, you got your big break in the porn industry in Holland, right? Also, I thought Andrés was Norwegian.

Well that was exactly how it happened. I got this phone call from a woman from New York. She did an interview with me for a good 20 minutes. Funny thing is I don´t even remember why I applied for it but the lady seem to be ok with my answers and a few hours later I got a confirmation sent via mail as well.... Pretty weird stuff, ha ha...
