Playstation Network is down in the UK? Has anyone else got this message as it's currently saying service not available in your region? Not had this before!

Hardly ever down? The network has never been down. the PSN is garbage. It might be free, but it crashes all the time and had the infammous day light savings crash that still hasn't completely been fixed. Xbox might be be $60 bucks a yera, but the network is reliable and provides far more DLC and multiplayer than PS.

Like I said in a past thread just last week, the 360 fan boys are qued 24/7 365. It wasn't down because of trouble, it was down because they were running maintanence. Even the wonderful Xbox live goes down for maintanence on a regular basis...

Xbox live is more reliable , and I prefer it to the PSN but you got to be realistic here , live does have some down times for maintenance although it really doesnt happen often.

They raised it to $60, when did this happen? That sucks cause it wasn't worth the $50, it should be free. Have fun changing the underpants on your avatar character for $50, $60 or whatever they are robbing you for now....

PSN seems to be working for me so either they finished with maintenance or it never went down here in the States. I gotta say though that this thread started out informative and then the fanboys decided to take over.

They said in IGN's article that it may or may not go out. It depends on what region. And yes you are right, I answered the thread question in a timely fashion only to have the Xboxers take over in a very sarcastic manner.

Network maintenance. Typically it puts about 95-97% of the network down at any one point. Most of the world won't have access, but a few people will at any one point.
