which do you prefer and why. personally ps3 is my choice. sony as a company has an outstanding reputation for quality and not only that, look at the failure rate of the xbox

what he said ^ and Sony is quietly promising their motto's of "good things take time" "can only be done on playstation3" "and a long life cycle is best".

We all see what the machine can do in terms of physics/graphics with Uncharted2,Killzone2,LBplanet,GodOFwar3 etc. People got there $100 price cut,360 is now MUCH more expensive rather than more expensive in the long run,the games lineup on ps3 past, present and future belittles 360 its disgusting and multiplatform games play better on ps3.

Once they add private and party cross game chat than xboxlive better go free of charge cause a majority of the gamers in these times would prob like free service instead of paying to dress up an avatar and navigate through 40 menus to get settings, marketplace etc.

There is choice missing in the poll : Both . I own both systems and I like them equally , they both have entertaining games.

I like the PS3 i have both but I originally bought the ps3 for the blueray and game feature but then i started to use the web browser just put it on pandora and basically it becomes a good d.j for a party plus the hdmi hook up is another plus the ps3 is 299. with 120 gigs of memory the xbox 360 less memory no blue ray and face it you dont know when you will get the wicked red ring of death

OK! PS3 is a Game console ($200), blue ray player($300), up-concerting dvd player ($150), music player($100), playlist editor, chat box, web browser, and it looks cool(priceless)!

Ps3 all the way!

The controllers feel better in my palm,

Gotta give it to my sony.

It's PS3 for me. If you want a system that only plays games, then sure, go for 360. You want a system that does MUCH more than play video games? PS3 is where it's at then. The only problem I have with PS3 is Home. I'm pretty sure we can all say that Home isn't as great as it could have been. I feel so bad for all the girls who go into Home because they're constantly being harassed by 12 year old boys.
