I'm pretty sure they don't have a program for that.

Believe me, if they're talking about it in Fort Worth, Tx.
you know it's well under way in Frisco. . . .

Fort Worth – a city famous for longhorns, stockyards and git-along politics – has saddled up an issue that promises to buck feverishly over the next month.

Should taxpayer-funded health insurance pay for city employees' sex-change operations?

the main problem i have with the arguments against gay marriage is that they all boil down to arguments about destroying the institution of marriage (which straight people have already destroyed considering the divorce rate) or gay bashing...anyway i say america should abolish it's recognition of all religious sanctioned marriage it's an antiquated ritual if someone wants the benefits married couples get all they should have to do is file some paperwork and if they want a boring religious ritual on the side feel free to get er done

Legally speaking, it already has. Marriage is legally defined in the US as a civil institution.

Sexual reassignment surgery is considered a medical necessity by most medical institutions. The reason it is not covered by most insurance companies in this country is because of politics, although it is the only successful treatment we know of for transsexualism.
As we learnt from the past, popular opinion is not always the right one..and just because your mommy or daddy told you that this people who are "so different" than you, and still fashionable to openly discriminate, have a "perverted sexual mental disorder," doesn't make it so.;)
