I've just come across this issue whilst trying to post 3 links on the "Best Facial Part X"

For some reason, when I click "Post" to finish the message it scrambles them all up and posts the links multiple times. Please see example below of a previous post:

I don't know what it is going on, but something is wrong and is annoying as I keep having to go back and edit. It still scrambles it all when I go to submit again.

...and this is still broken. Is there any timeline for fixing this? I'm getting very sick of having to work around forum bugs just to put up posts that contain both a link/image and a girl's name.

...and we're still broken. Every day, multiple times a day (up to 30% of posts) I have to edit and rearrange links and names to make my posts come out readable. Why is this problem never on the list of things to fix in the updates forum @Petra ? My posts end up looking inconsistent and crappy and contain less information than they might otherwise. Please at least post and say this is recognized as a real bug and is on your list. Nothing has gotten better since June/July when this first appeared other than turning off link unfurling which just hides more instances of this bug.

Oh my god, this is incredibly reproducible, me and others have posted multiple places how to reproduce this. It has been suggested to you multiple times that you can't use an admin account and that it only reproduces in common forums like those in Fetish Corner where I spend my time. @Petra if you haven't tried that then you haven't really tried to reproduce it. So, please use a common account in a common forum for the following instructions:

Use the following lines of text (image, link, names) but instead put them in a fresh post in the order (names, image, link) and use "remove all formatting" on the text before you post so it is raw (obviously remove the "---REMOVE FOR VALID TAG---" text to get a valid image link):

I originally tried the text in https://www.freeones.ca/forums/thre...-riding-his-face.640302/page-35#post-11152475 where I reordered it to (image, link, names) so it came out clean. The next post, https://www.freeones.ca/forums/thre...-riding-his-face.640302/page-35#post-11152543 demonstrates the bug in the order (names, image, link).

You don't need an image to cause this, generally all you need are some combination of links and girls' names where there is either two girls games plus links or one girl's name plus multiple links. Most commonly these two scenario's cause the issue:

Blank spacing between lines seems to make no difference.

The fundamental problem underlying all of this is that code that replaces "name" with "link to name" is busted and fucks up posts. Disable that and the bug vanishes I'm 99% sure. When link unfurling was on, it also made things worse but may have been the same bug.

@Petra you give up too easily. This is a real bug and it is making your forum look like crap whether you can reproduce it or not. I've worked in software and the attitude was that if a bug only reproduces in a single environment then we'd work to replicate that environment and validate the bug. If a bug report was clearly demonstrating something wrong then we'd work to figure out what went wrong, not throw it back on the user who as no real control over or understanding of the software system.

First, I'd like to see if you can "reproduce" this problem in a passive way. Go to this thread: https://www.freeones.ca/forums/threads/women-in-the-kitchen.401122/ and look at the very first post, link #1. Does it look messed up to you? It certainly does to me which tells me the board is busted since this was posted in 2009. Second, some environmental settings. I'm using an up-to-date Firefox in a non-private window (default setting), privacy setting set to "Standard" and security setting set to "Block Dangerous Content" (default). The problem happens with or without AdBlock Plus enabled.

Third, I'd like to point out that this problem only started happening some time after you enabled the "replace a babe's name with a link" functionality and doesn't appear to reproduce without it. My recollection is that originally it was attempting to replace babe names inside links but that bug was "fixed" and this new bug appeared as a result. All of this came from changes on your side, not the user's side.

If I was running a software service department, I'd definitely have enough to go on to open a high-severity issue to get addressed. You have a bug which messes up old content and new content in situations specifically where your users are following best board practices - i.e. adding babe names and links in their posts. That being said, if you want to take this discussion to a private area, then we can do do that but I firmly believe this is a problem with your board you need to understand. I'm not the only user seeing this and even if you only see it intermittently, it is still a problem.

@Petra I just tried MS Edge instead of Firefox, wasn't even logged into FreeOnes, and it is still messing up content from old posts - e.g. post #1 in https://www.freeones.ca/forums/threads/women-in-the-kitchen.401122/ as mentioned in the post above. So not only is this not a browser issue, it isn't even an issue of being a logged in user. This tells me that anybody who visits FreeOnes, logged in or not, is going to see a bunch of fucked-up content. Isn't that worth assigning somebody to look at it?

Posted by Alessando, not me, clearly fucked up. How can you say this isn't reproducible @Petra ? Look at the examples in the posts above, can you at least admit your board has a problem? What I would find very interesting is if you can't see the problems I'm pointing out in other peoples' posts like this one. If you can, then the board has a bug, plain and simple that isn't tied to me alone.
