AKA Names and Other Problems

I noticed yesterday that the babe name link replacer is working again but not correctly.

1. Will the AKA name functionality be brought back? I noticed that Vina Skyy gets replaced but the far more common Vina Sky doesn't. Also I noticed that the Andi Land thread has been renamed to the (old and far less common) Andi Pink thread. Was that also part of sanitizing all the babe names to a single name?

2. I see that the replacer currently only works on new posts. Any thoughts on extending that to all posts in a page like it used to be?
NEVER MIND - I see that this started to work after my original post.

3. Sometimes the replacer is still broken, as when the girl's name is in the link as in this example:
Kitty Quinn: https://www.erocurves.com/Kitty-quinn-red-dress/
I worked around it like this: Kitty Quinn: click here, working around forum bug
Wasn't this the reason it was disabled the first time?

4. Think y'all are going too far with single-name women - e.g. "Savannah Secret" got "Savannah" replaced with a link to a different woman.

5. Also on the single-name women - the screw up extends to messing up "insert image by URL". If the URL for the image contains a single name pornstar, like Niemira, it will fail to insert the image. Example, inserting this image: "http://cdn.perfectnaked.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/27/niemira-sexy-denim-outfit-3.jpg". Putting things in quotes seems to defeat the problem but it won't work for insert-image-by-URL.

Okay, there isn't a major screw up like originally reported in this thread but the name-link-replacer hasn't worked in a long time, i.e. babe names aren't being replaced with a link. Is there anybody working on this or do y'all care about it? I really like the functionality and think it should be a high priority fix.

I know you have a lot of development work going on, but you really need to fix bugs too!

@DrakeM - the devs are aware of this issue and it will be worked on soon, but there are a couple of other issues that are taking precedence right now.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll complain here.

The name link replacer hasn't been working for a couple of days now. Is this on somebody's radar?

It's no accident but well done for being the first person to notice it. I figured out how to turn it off the other day so I wanted to see how long it would take for someone to notice and if anyone would miss it.

Why do you object to it not being there? It doesn't work properly and hasn't done for years. It's too much like pot luck as to whether it links to the right person or not. Not to mention it randomly links to people when you were just typing unrelated phrases just because it happens to contain someone's name. And there's no way for folks to disable it if it did link to someone when they either didn't want it or when it wasn't who they were referring to.

My main use of it, to be honest, is as a spellchecker. I type in so many porn star names every day that I find very useful to see them turned into a link meaning I got them right. When they don't I automatically double-check the spelling. Secondary use - a quick link to their FreeOnes page as opposed to going to FreeOnes and retyping the name into the search bar.

Not exactly compelling use cases but I like having it in its imperfect form rather than not having it.

The hyperlinking also helps when sequencing aliases with fix/merge requests. We know which name to give priority.
