I concur with Ace's assessment. Good job.

What people need to realize is that both Fox News and MSNBC represent political entertainment, not genuine news. The closest thing to hard and objective news is probably the PBS NewsHour from my perspective. Somewhat surprisingly, I also find Al Jazeera America to be a good source for hard news with a unique viewpoint. For nightly news, I currently watch NBC with Brian Williams although I actually think Lester Holt is a better anchor to be truthful. David Muir is pretty good with ABC since Diane Sawyer left (I found her presentation to be way too soft although she is easy on the eyes for sure.) CBS leaves me wanting....they need Walter Cronkite back. CNN is probably the best source for news overkill....way more information on anything that is being covered than any other new channel. Bottom line is that no news broadcast is totally objective. The mere selection of the key stories to feature reveal an undercurrent of bias to some degree with all of them but there is little doubt that Fox and MSNBC are the most extreme in that regard.

Check your facts. The unemployment rate is now the lowest it's been since 2008. The stock market has been extremely bullish in recent months (perhaps recently due to republican gains in congress but that is moot). Gas prices are dropping like a rock. Not giving Obama total credit for all that but, hey, it's happening on his watch so you have to give him kudos for being the head chief when it occurred. I feel fairly certain he would be being spit-roasted if the opposite were true so....:dunno:

No, I don't doubt that. It's a matter of lesser evil : Even if MSNBC would favor Warren over Hillary, they would still favor Hillary over Rubio, Perry, Cruz, etc.

and even if the Republicans candidate would come out to fit more to MSNBC's agenda than Hillary (possible if the republcan choose Rand Paul for example), MSNBC's interest as a news channel would be to support Hillary. 'cause, just like voters favored Republicans candidate over Democrats running republican campaigns (like Mark Pryor), the american audience would rather watch a pro-republicans news channel that has always ran for the GOP than one who's suposed to be pro-democrats but now runs for the republican candidate

The problem I had with him was that he could have done anything after the CBS Evening News, even run for president (the most trusted man in America). MSNBC is a news channel. Their job is to do the news. The do have a political agenda and would report the news according to it, just like Fox News. The difference is tht MSNBC's agenda is about liberal ideas, they will endorse the candidate that share these liberal ideas.
Fox News' agenda is to help republican candidates to be elected. Between two republicans, one being a moderate republican and the other being a right-wing republican they will favor the rightwing republican. But in a case in wich the republican candidate would be lessconservative than the dmocrat candidate, they will endorse the republican, 'cause their purpose is to get republicans elected.

I do agree the line between biased news and blatant propaganda is thin but MSNBC is clearly biased news and Fox News is clearly blatant propaganda
