I like porn though I agree the acting is well **** a lot of the time but that's mostly because porn stars aren't trained actors we are porn stars/amateurs or whatever else group we fall in.

I personally prefer amateur porn and indie porn where the authenticity feels refreshingly unique for one reason or another, and I also love good comedies. Sometimes I might browse around and watch just the few minutes of a video just to get a laugh with the introductory story, because the rest is pretty much all the same. In fact, although lesbian scenes are the most beautiful, the most interesting part is early on when they're making out and rubbing their bodies against each other, as it gets boring once they pop out the dildos. I like to watch girls like Dani Woodward (all-time fave) and Gianna Michaels who pump so much personality into their hot ass roles, and that's what keeps porn worthwhile.

It is a means to an end and most of the time it's just that. There's always a happy ending, but sometimes I'll watch the start of a few videos before saying to myself, "Okay, let's go for the glory and finish."

Well, don't get me wrong. I did not say that all porn is boring, just a majority of it. And you're right that it's very specific what really turns you on - sometimes even an ordinary scene done well can be very good. There is no special category for some 'hot', 'believable' or 'inventive' porn.

I agree that most porn made now is close to complete crap. If you watch stuff from the 80s and 90s most of it blows what's made today away, and that's when they had worse technology to make it with. Passion and eroticism actually existed in it. The women were more than virtual sex toys then. The people that produced it seemed to know more about what they were doing, and it at least didn't seem like they sold out and made the quickest cheapest thing that could do to make a quick buck like they do now.

Yep, you're right. I like vintage stuff, babes in 70s/80s were IMHO much hotter than most pornstars today and everything is much more natural there. But I am discouraged and often disgusted by long shots at faces of dudes.

That's not what I mean. I think that Pirates XXX was the most boring porn ever made. I like normal porn but in a hot way. When girl is acting so well that you believe that she's really horny, when she's slowly taking off her clothes, when she's inventive etc... For many pornstars it's just routine, boring work.

Well that is going to depend on the porn chick rather than the type of scene. Some porn chicks come off more into it than others.

I'm not sure if Brea Bennett's stuff will fit the bill for you but she always comes off as a more legitimately horny chick in her scenes as I've seen in porn.

If you find her scenes boring then you should probably change the location under your name to 'city morgue' and the problem would be you have ****** away but have just forgotten to lay down.

In response to the OP, I can identify with his sentiment. I've become increasingly disinterested in pornography. For me, it's gotten to the point where watching a porn flick is like having a quickie with my girlfriend. Sure, sex is sex and it's good, but a lot of times I'd rather have it be GREAT. To that end I've recently found erotica to be much more fulfilling. Granted, there is probably just as much crappy erotica out there as there is crappy porn, but I've had an easier time recently letting my complete mind be stimulated than just my eyes and ears.

Man...either some of you wouldn't be satisfied even if you got hung with a new rope or you're fishing in the wrong ponds for excitement.

One truism in porn...the hottest looking chicks don't always give the best performances. The world would be perfect if the chicks who looked the best were guaranteed to give the best performances. But the world isn't perfect.

If you've stumbled upon some gorgeous or flaming hot porn babe and after eagerly awaiting a scene from her you come away thinking her performance was pedestrian...you could give it a few more shots but chances are she's not going to deliver what you expect.

Some of my favorite performers are chicks that at first glance I would never have paid attention to and are only fans of their work through simple, dumb luck in stumbling onto one of their scenes.

'Moral of the story', (for OP) broaden your horizons and accept the fact that maybe some of the hottest looking chicks won't always deliver the best performances.
