Since I was banned from participating in the other PP thread I'll say here what I have to say. I don't understand how anyone can be so obstinate when it comes to rape. The brutality of it, the pure violation of it is overwhelming. You can only truly appreciate the horrific toll it takes on the victim if it's happened to you. Until then you have no clue and therefore no place of knowledge to run your dicksucker about it as if you do. Embarrassment, self-blame, destruction of trust, lack of feeling safe around ALL men including immediate family, grandfathers, fathers, uncles, husbands included. It takes a big part of you that you NEVER get back. There's a reason more that most sex workers have been sexually violated at some point in their lives. It's no longer special. its a tool to get through something bad so something worse doesn't happen.

I posted a thread about the republicans trying to pass a law to redefine rape so that they could make getting an abortion in cases of pregnancy from rape illegal and the first person to reply was YOU disputing the relevance of this attempted law by Paul Ryan and Tod Akin.
Here's your reply, "Put like this sounds awful. However, rape is rape, but no rape is no rape as well. Someone can't be raped just because she says so. I hope we all agree that some evidence is needed that a rape has happened. Personally i don't think that if a woman gets willingly drunk and then fucks a man and regrets it the day after she should be considered a victim of rape. The same applies to a 16yo girl fucking a 60yo man willingly and then regretting it and playing the rape card (this is just my personal opinion: i know that in some states the age of consent is 18 and therefore at 16 could be considered rape; i just disagree with that). How do you know beyond any reasonable doubt that a sex act was consumed willingly? Well, that's another matter. You probably can't. But if you give women the chance to use the rape card without any responsibilities, that card becomes a weapon."
Now reading that in response to what I wrote it's pretty clear you are on the side of hammering the victim as hard as the actual rapist. You never said rape wasn't a bad crime, you just took the side of the accused more than the victim. You're basically saying, "it's her word against his so he can't be charged" You are more worried about the small % of men accused of rape wrongly than you are about the actual credible rape victims by taking your position. If you can live with that then fine, just don't ask me to accept it or understand it. We have politicians in this country who say that a mother should die giving birth rather than abort a pregnancy.
