A.... They are noticed so much because they sell us a product and we buy and they want us to continue buying. To fade into the background is suicide to a star. Sorry to burst your bubble friend, but stars hire people to "make sure" they stay in the limelight. How do you think we always know where they are and what they are doing. Hell half of the dates in Hollywood are like planned marriages. Details worked out between agents. Smoke and mirrors. Your trying to school on the media with such views?
B... You think she snapped because of the cameras? That's her bread and butter baby. She would be nothing without it. She snaps because she has dug a hole she can't climb out of.
C... I still think "spoiled rich girl" or "spoiled rich brat" is a better description. White hasn't a thing to do with it. IMHO :glugglug:

Yes, they do want to be noticed when they appear on their films, personal appearances, tv shows, etc.
They do not want publicity on their personal lives. They do not want to be followed every single place they go. If you think otherwise try to imagine what you would feel like in their shoes. Imagine how you would feel if you went out with your friends to grab a drink or ten and then the next morning your face is plastered all over the media saying you are a drunk.
Yes, if she did snap, which I still have no clue what "snapping" you are talking about that she has done, it was probably because she cant have any privacy because of the media.
Who dug this whole you may ask? The media is the correct answer. They are the ones airing everything.
As far as your white girl comment read my previous post for that answer.
In final, the media is the one causing the stir. Not the celebrity. If you think Britney, Paris, Mel, George, David, etc. are wanting this negative publicity then  well... just think about that.
