And let me add that just because you have sex with someone (and this applies to all those racism in porn threads as well) or marry them does not automatically mean you view them as your equal does it? Women used to be viewed as mens property to do with almost as they wished (beat,fuck ,anytime they wished etc) when they got married.
I don't know how severe a racist Sarah is ,probably just average for a conservative republican which means more than most lol but I do think this is just another example 18 or not that she was not ready for anything very complex then and hasn't changed much since.

The upside of growing up in a rural, small town is that everybody gets to know everybody else. The downside is that (especially when the town is fairly homogenous) **** often become rather xenophobic, and don't learn the social skills necessary to interact with other groups.
That's one of the main reasons that I was determined to go to a larger university when I graduated from high school. I felt like to make it in the world, you had to be able to deal with "the world". I could have easily gone to some small, socially insulated school like Liberty University. And while I guess one could get a decent enough education at a place like that, the people I've met from schools like that tend to be sort of socially retarded. I knew a great many Sarah Palins when & where I grew up. That's probably one of the main reasons that I have no use for her now. She possesses a great deal of sizzle, but I see no indication that the steak has any taste.
BTW, has it ever been determined why Sarah attended so many different (small, unknown) colleges and took so long, just to get a lightweight degree?

But I love how the media is always turning something that is probably not a race issue into one. Seriously if one thinks about it, you have race-bating assholes like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. And just because they have nothing else to say about Sara Palin they are going to use this bullshit, and I'm not a supporter of hers in anyway. I think she's a lunatic too. But.....
I am sick and tired of this crap, there are some very racist people in the world and guess what my friends that is NEVER going to change. People change if they want to but this is not the case, there are just those that are going to have these viewpoints and it has been my observation that much of this occurs in states where there are not a lot of diverse ethnic groups. I originally come from NYC and now I live in Miami and nowhere are there two cities are so ethnically diverse. And you know what, I don't care what your ethnic group is, if you are an ASSHOLE, then you are an ASSHOLE whether you are white, black, asian, latino or a mix of everything. It has been my observation that those that are usually narrow-minded about this are those that do not live in areas that are ethnically mixed.

I would think much less of the quote if there was ever a report of some friction between Palin and her ***, or that he didn't back her political goals all the way.

Do you think he checks the non white box on his applications? Do you know how many whites have at least 20 % indian in this country? Too many. If her husband applies for a membership in a racist goup like....they won't deny him based on race. That is how you can tell if someone is white or not; whether those groups will reject his or her application based on race. Give me a break. You can be that Naive.
