When the Wild let him play against teams that don't have a fighter like the Canucks it gives the canucks an advantage cause all he does is turn the puck over and is a really slow skater plus takes dumb penalties
But it would be fun to have him in the allstar game.
Plus he is one of the best fighters right now.
And he has only six ***** penalties which is much less than many star players.
I don't see what good it would do for the NHL if an untalented player like Boogaard gets in the all-star game . That game is supposed to showcase the best talents in the league not the best fighters . I think it was kinda funny when Rory fitzpatrick almost got voted in because he was an ok defenseman but this time around it would be ridiculous to have a goon get in . They have to stop that trend because one day the all-star game will become a joke .
It's going to be tough for him to do it again tonight ( Tampa is losing 1-0 against the Rangers after 2 periods
) , but I think he can do it in the 3rd 
Lundqvist was incredible last night and Holmqvist was good but not good enough because he let in a very soft goal on the second one . Oh well since khabibulin has left tampa , the Lightning have not found a real good replacement and that is why they can't go all the way .
I think he'll be back to at least finish out the year on Long Island, especially if they are in a playoff hunt.

they've really started to gell as a team looking good for the futureI don't think The Islander's owner ( Charles Wang ) will let him come back , it is he who asked him to leave the team before the NHL even made a decision on the lenght of the suspension , so it seems the ownership of the team is really through with him for good .
