Honestly I think the woman thinks more about her and her needs than those of her kids. If she actually thought about them, she a) wouldn't have had more kids in the first place b) put the kids in the limelight from day 1 c) mismanaged all the money and help she received after the desperate public displays.

Frankly I'm surprised the kids weren't on set to play some part in the scenes preamble before being quickly whisked away so mommy could put on a performance.

While I would never denigrate anyone who felt that the only option they had open to them to support their children (if that is indeed the case here, which I doubt because of the reasons elucidated by Petra above) was to enter porn - I think it's rather sad that people in some instances have no other choice, but that subject is far more political than I'm willing to go in this thread. But to exploit her status as the person who birthed that many children at one time and the children themselves in conjunction is pretty reprehensible, both on her part and the part of the producer who by all accounts are probably the ones pushing the whole "Octomom" label the hardest, because it's a somewhat recognisable brand.
