Obama's friend Bell: I live to harass white folks.

Let us focus on real issues and try not to blow acquaintances/friendships out of proportion. I'm sure we all have that one friend or past friend that could damage our reputation. Perhaps. Who gives a shit who he knows? Focus on stuff like that is dumb. Remember when democrats tried to sully Sen. Scott Brown because of his Cosmopolitan magazine shoot? Stick with the issues. Not the personal shit. Or at least stick majority with the issues and lace personal shit in it... I don't know. I don't give a crap anymore. It's getting out of hand and I am sick of all this political shit that doesn't mean a damn thing because in the end we are always gonna get screwed the general population.

That's the problem, Whimsy. We as a society have the attention span of a 2 year old (now I think it might be less). We care more about if the person agrees with gay marriage or not rather than if the person has a clue on how to get us out of this quagmire.
Also folks please remember one thing. It does not matter if it's the G.O.P Party, the Democratic Party, the Green Party, Tea Party, Christmas Party or House Party. We are still dealing with politicians.

It was already well known that Obama had connections with Jesse Jackson and other sympathizers like Farrakhan. I am not an Obama fanboy. Have really your standards of living improved under his presidency???? I think not, they have gone worse and your nearly 10% unemployment rate shows it.
You'd think by now someone would have told our Georges that things are this way because of bad economic policy that had been coming to a boil for decades. Maybe someone did, and he just doesn't care about pretext. To him, Obama became president and suddenly things got worse. Deregulation under previous administrations? Whatchu talkin' bout willis? Obama broke the economy! :cussing:

Guess what he would be saying if McCain became president and unemployment was higher: "guyz, stop blaming McCain. It's obviously Clinton's fault!"

Politicians have no shame anymore. Back in the 80's a candidate could have his entire career wrecked by a really not too racy picture and now a candidate can go to a Black Liberation Theology church every Sunday for years and listen to some hateful anti American, anti Caucasian preaching; associate with known domestic terrorists; and go several years without conclusively proving that he is qualified as an American citizen to even run for office.

Then again, in what other line of work can you tell your boss that you're going to take a year or two off from work to look for another job and still expect to get paid? And if you don't get the job you expect to return to your job without a loss in pay or privileges. If I were to tell my boss anything like that I'd be out on the street in under a minute and that boss would ensure that I got a shitty reference from every prospective employer.

Fuck 'em all.

And the Republicans solution was/is budget cuts. Go ask Europe how austerity is working for them

I prefer austerity than a nanny state and I hate to see assisted unwilling to work leechers getting social helps and appartments with the money I paid for taxes. Enough of socialism.

I know and I am well aware about the previous administrations faults too, but people put Obama on a such pedestal despite he had a shitty record as governor of Illinois and as a President, he didn't improve the situation but implemented what should never have been: free healthcare and social security(both are typical of socialist governments). I never liked Clinton either. Mc Cain has not been elected because he was too old a lot of people were blinded by the hype about Obama's campaign, Mr Fixtheeconomy. Obama's policy of change was a bad change.

It's funny that I never hear anyone use that same complaint against Ron Paul despite the fact that he is older than McCain. I wonder why that is?

Politicians are simply lawyers looking for a huge, huge raise. We, the citizens, are the jurors getting paid $10 a day and free parking whilst the lawyer is getting paid thousands more than we do to try and convince us to make a decision as a whole. Sometimes we come across a decent lawyer [politician] other times we come across your typical asshole lawyer [politician] looking to cash in.

Think about it...

Sorry Neo-Cons, but this thread is why Obama is not only going to win, it's going to be a wipeout. Every passing day you guys get more shrill, your charges get more outlandish and more people realize what a bunch of out-of-touch, freaky losers you are. Gingrich, Santorum, Romney. You guys are so sunk.

He thinks Obama was governor of IL. :rofl2::1orglaugh You just lost all credibility with me

He was a senator (sorry for the mistake) but none the less, he still had a shitty record. Tell me what positive he did for your state with valid and concrete facts.

McCain didn't get elected for a variety of reasons. One of which was the fact that he chose someone as his running mate who wasn't fit (or intelligent enough) to be a dog catcher in a town with no dogs.

As for Obama implementing free health care and social security... eh, you may want to go back and fact check that one, Georges.

Anybody but obama 2012 !!!

OK. Michele Bachmann.

But you might want to change professions before she starts passing out prison sentences for people in porn though. I'm just sayin'. :D

Perhaps if you weren't being deliberately obtuse you could have found some of that information yourself. Unfortunately, Senator McCain campaigned against Barack Obama in 2008, and not for himself. If McCain had focused on why he was the better choice instead of going negative on Obama he wouldn't have alienated as many people. Going into the primaries in 2008, I supported Hillary Clinton. When she lost I would have considered voting for John McCain, until he went negative, and after he picked Palin I knew there was no way in hell I could vote for him. I understand why McCain went negative, that's how Bush beat him in the 2000 primary, but negative didn't suit him. It's a shame because McCain, a career moderate, bowed to the insane conservative right and went in attack mode. Hey, it served Bush and his cronies well for eight years but 2008, after eight years of screwing the economy, voters had enough of Bush and his ilk. McCain wasn't smart enough to realize that and he lost because of it.

I'd just like to point out something. Here in Canada, our Prime Minister is a hardcore conservative. Seriously, you'd love him. He's like George Bush with a bigger haircut.

But... Canada lost jobs last month. Our gas prices are soaring. And our unemployment rate is nearly 70%. So if someone would please tell me how having a conservative as the head of a country is benefitial, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As a conservative and gambler, I have to say that Obama is going for another 4 years. Lengthening his lead to the wire. He has made the right choices in the middle east, his economic numbers will grow, and there is no candidate on the right that has solid backing against him. All the candidates just talk the same shit. Rhetoric and talking points. Sure, I agree that we need to get upon our own feet with energy independence. But with that we should also be allowed to drill and pipe. The clean industries gotta have a way to power their efforts for their start up.

The efforts to stabilize the economy may have not been popular or the best decisions. But be in mind of how many EU countries had to be bailed out and had to slash social spending before going into default.

It ain't perfect here. It's not perfect anyplace. Otherwise people would be racing out of their countries going to only one place.

Or Santorum. Even if he doesn't outlaw porn, he'll be sure to take away those contraceptives you need. Good luck with your post-scene baby! :hatsoff:

Bachmann was just the first candidate to sign the pledge to ban porn. That's why I threw my "girlfriend" in the morality circle/under the bus. But all of the top three GOP candidates, who remain in the race, have taken the same (Morality in Media) pledge to ban pornography and prosecute pornographers that My Belle Michelle took. She's just a swell gal. I'm not sure why so many people give her a hard time. I think she'd make a fantastic Attorney General. When Romney or Santorum take office, hopefully they'll agree with me and appoint her to that position. As for the porn stars on here... :wanted:

Former Senator Rick Santorum in a written statement: “Federal obscenity laws should be vigorously enforced. If elected President, I will appoint an Attorney General who will do so. Limited Justice Department resources should be used to protect children and women from predators, not limited by state boundaries rather than to sue border states.” Note: Senator Santorum has commented listed pornography as one of the issues he is concerned with on his website here.

Former Governor Mitt Romney in a written statement: “(I)t is imperative that we cultivate the promotion of fundamental family values. This can be accomplished with increased parental involvement and enhanced supervision of our children. It includes strict enforcement of our nation’s obscenity laws, as well as the promotion of parental software controls that guard our children from Internet pornography.”

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich in a face-to-face meeting: When asked by MIM staff if he will enforce existing laws that make much hard-core adult pornography illegal, he responded, “Yes, I will appoint an Attorney General who will enforce these laws.”

I don't think you'll ever see Foghorn Leghorn supporting Colonel Sanders for President. I'm just sayin'. :hatsoff:
