Obama: Fox News is 'destructive' to America

So, given that Fox is for Conservatives and MSNBC (how does CNBC fit into the Liberal business plan anyway) is for Liberals....why does Fox continue to use "Fair and Balanced" as others have brought up in the thread? Why don't they just change to "For America" or something like that?

It's almost funny to watch these anti-Obama/Islamophobes pump up Fox News just because that network has high viewer ratings despite the evidence posted by myself and others that proves Fox News repeatedly engages in the business of manufacturing outright lies on a daily basis. They even have the audacity to make the same accusations against non-Fox News networks of being guilty of exactly the same thing Fox News is charged for, yet they fail to submit the same amount of proof that rivals or even equals the proof we have shared to prove the blatant 24/7 falsehoods disseminated by Fox News

Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14 (see trends).

The Rasmussen Reports Gubernatorial Scorecard shows that Republicans would end up with 27 governorships if the election were held today. The Democrats would hold 13 and ten states are in the Toss-Up column.

Now, I'm not really all that great at math (one of the stupid inbred conservative types over here, er um DERRRR!!!) but I think negative numbers are usually considered bad.

I personally haven't even watched Fox News in a couple of years so it is my opinion that perhaps Obama is just digging his own grave.

Well from what I saw the other day, they had a few Democrats on there and they didnt seem to try to twist their words around any. I always thought of Fox as the conservative side, but I didnt see it the other day when watching. But then again, I watch porn regularly, not the news

If you talk to any genuine Conservative who is either Libertarian, Republican or Independent who happens to be drinking a glass of milk and ask them if they think Fox News is a genuinely conservative network, they'll be laughing milk through their nostrils

To quote the famous slogan from the '92 Clinton campaign, "it's the economy stupid".

That and the fact that maybe some people thought they were voting for a magician, don't have a perspective on what we're trying to rebound from, don't understand how long the economy has historically taken in similar instances, don't even realize what has been done and don't even know that for the most part the only things his opponents can offer as the alternative is to have done nothing...to which they would have then been complaining he isn't doing anything.

Someone alleged in another thread things would be 5x better but for Obama...to that I'm still waiting for an answer as to what specific policies or lack of them would have made things 5x better than they are now when there's absolutely NO historical precedence to support such a model...other than maybe not having had GWB precede him.

It might be partly the economy's fault, but that doesn't hide the fact that he's a mediocre President at BEST. I didn't vote for McCain either, and I don't think there would be much difference if he were the President. I tend to agree with you on this. Obama has not lead well on some things. I give him a pass so far...not because I voted for him but because I believe I understand the circumstances.

It's not partisan..It's the same pass I and many others gave GWB in the wake of 9/11. Some things are not and shouldn't be partisan to me.

GOPers are hatcheting away at Obama...but the fact of the matter and question is...what would/could they be doing differently besides not doing anything?

You realize that Rasmussen is a Republican pollster right?

Furthermore, the idea of a "Presidential Approval Index rating" is a subjective measurement created by Rasmussen themselves that isn't measured by any legitimate pollsters.
