Bob Gainey would have to be on drugs to sign a jackass like Sean Avery .

If it happends, i will consider seriously to let down my beloved Habs. My second favorite team is our archrivals Boston Bruins.

It's currently boiling in Montreal. The team is underachieving, lots of injuries, the PP going nowhere and Carbonneau doesn't seems to have solutions.

Gainey is also in the bidding for Mats Sundin... but it seems Sundin considers only 2 options seriously now: NY Rangers and Vancouver.

Tonight, Habs at Carolina. We always had difficulties against Hurricanes/Whalers, let's hope it won't be the case tonight.

Oh, your beloved Habs. What are they to do? At least they are better off than Tampa. :)

Help protect me...

So you know, I loved the Rags and Nucks because of the players and not the team.

So what happened to Sean Avery?? Was he talking about Elsha Cuthbert when he made those remarks about that guy getting his sloppy seconds? Anybody know?

that's exactly what he was talking about. the regular media, of course, only covers this and makes it look like Avery was suspended and removed from the roster for that and that alone. however, if you look at his history, you'll notice time and time again he said/did stupid things and this seems to have been the final straw for the Stars.

i'm sure he'll end up on another team and he'll be suspended for more stupid things in the future.

I could be harsh. Between the lesser of 2 evils in the country, yeah, I've been taught to be a Laffs fan.

Mauser98k, it's hard not to poke fun at the Lightning. I respect your love of the team. I did mention the teams I like. I was messed up in 94.

Montreal 0 - Carolina 2 (1st over)

10 minutes of PP for Carolina. Do you hear this 10 fucking PP minutes for Carolina. <

Eric Staal scored twice.

Habs managed 3 shots on goals.

Referees managed to make me close my TV. I might watch the 3rd. :dunno:

Thank you Mr. Bettman for this moronic hockey...

wow. at the end of the 2nd period, the Habs just took their 11th penalty. they put the camera on Guy Carbanneau and you could read his lips when he shouted, "I fucking give up!"

Good Thunder Bay boy. :)
I know what you mean about the penalties. I miss the old days of the game from the 80's/90's. Was too young to see remember the 70's.

Don't read lips. Aside from that, he should have said it in french.

sac-on-blue.

or how ever that is typed. Just watching the replay of the laffs game right now.

Oh, welcome to the new NHL. Buttman will decide who wins.

Wow!!! Great game from my Blue Jackets last night. Only my second game of the year. Good old fashioned low scoring, hard hitting hockey. Stellar play between the pipes from Steve Mason. RJ Umberger (from THE Ohio State University) won it in overtime. Blue Jacket 2 Sharks 1

Steve Mason is really the best NHL keeper of the moment. If Colombus aren't able to make the playoffs with Mason/Leclaire duo, you will never made it!

Habs at Philly tonight. Always interresting games between them. Komisarek and Laraque will play tonight, both come back from injury. The young Ben Maxwell has been sent back to the minors.
