News arent good for the Habs.

Mathieu Dandenault will be out for 2 to 3 months (multiple fractures to the arm).
Chris Higgins will be out for 2 to 3 weeks.
Carey Price is still ill - day to day basis.
Georges Laraque is injured but nothing disclosed, day to day.
Mike Komisarek might be back soon after recovering shoulder injury, day to day basis now.
Saku Koivu is injured to lower body, might be the knee or the feet.

Been called up for the game tomorrow:

Marc Denis, Goalkeeper, known to TB fans as the one who completely lost confidence in himself.
Ben Maxwell, Center, will replace Koivu on one of the top 2 lines. A young in development on which Habs count for the future. Will play his frist NHL game tomorrow against Washington.

Ironically enough, Habs wanted to call up Kyle Chipchura, Center, but he is injured.

Washington might roll over us like Tampa Bay did. :(

The rumors are more and more confirmed.

Mats Sundin who initially turned down the 10M$ a year contract with Vancouver Canucks might say... yes.

It seems that besides Vancouver, only NY Rangers are serious contender for Mats Sundin. Bob Gainey did everything possible to sign him this summer and might try to get him to Montreal, especially now that Saku Koivu is (according to rumors, no way to know what the fuck is going on nowadays in the NHL!) seriously injured.

Where will he land?

Only Mats know... :dunno:

i think luck has remembered it's not on Tampa's side. it should be 3 to nothing TB right now. 2 great breakaways and i save by Gerber you will never see again.

Paul Szczechura shot the puck into Gerber's gove while Gerber was looking the other way. he didn't even know he had it

the refs in the TB/Ottawa game need to be murdered. they're missing blatant penalties and calling ones that should be let go

Washington 2 - Montréal 1

Varlamov, the emergency call-up Capitals goalie, was the 1st star of the game and it was his first NHL game. It sums the game pretty much. Solid defensive performance by the Caps against a slumping, injured and lacking of confidence Canadien. Thanks to Jaroslav Halak, we stayed in the game untill the last minutes - a solid performance.

Only goal for Habs: Patrice Brisebois.

Habs are digging themselves a hole. Someday they will understand they will have to get out of it :(

Can someone tell to Alexei Kovalev he havent score at his last 17 freakin games... And its his last year of contract...

*Grandpa Simpson voice* "bitch, bitch, bitch"
Wonder if Buttman ordered the refs to give TB a tough time since they are in a dispute with Melrose.

Didn't Edmonton take it to the Canucks tonight. Of course Stortini shouldn't have been dressed since he got beat by Hordichuk. McIntrye would have been a better fighter for the Oilers. I'm not going to say anything about the MTL game since I may hurt somebody's feelings.

There have been rumors they could be done with co-manager Brett Hull too. Any news on that?

You would give me many negative feedback points on my thoughts of the game.

I won't.

Habs sucks lately, i hear very negative comments all day long on the radio :1orglaugh

Sidenote - There is a rumor that Sean Avery will land in Montreal. I don't know from where it comes from but... it's virtually impossible that Habs could sign an asshat like him.

Bob Gainey would have to be on drugs to sign a jackass like Sean Avery .
