Yeah I thought I was watching the end of Slapshot with Paul Newman, Michael Ontkean and the Hanson Brothers.
My pops and I go down before the game to grab a couple seats from the scalpers but to no avail. Little did we know this was the largest crowd of the year and the fourth largest of all time. It was 'Hockey Day' in Minnesota (Several HS games were televised nationally) so of course we should've known this, but last time me and my brother-from-another-mother went down we snagged two $55 seats for $20. 
Bad timing I guess, but I should've known being a previous season ticket holder. But a FYI: if you hear of a scalper getting merked outside of the X before a Wild game, I'm the culprit! I can't stand those scalpers; I've even worked with some of them when my dad still had season seats and we got into the Stanley Cup Finals and we were movin'g seats outside, but they are a bunch of gutter-trash hustlers who think they can come across the river and punk a white boy like me... :nono:
On a positive note, looks like the Wild (9-2 in their last 11) are arguably the hottest team in the league ATM. Also, Brent Burns is no question a elite defenseman. Now I know why he wanted to be on that gold medal-winning Canadian team last year.

Why would they lose the south east division ? The washington capitals are playing like crap , so I'm not worried. The bolts will have to play god awful for them to lose the division.

Went to my alma mater's (HS) game tonight and it wasn't bad. A couple of kids are going into Juniors with some skill. Still a little disapointed with the loss of interest in the program and the white flight and kids going to private schools, but that's the nature of the HS game.
Not to digress from our most professional thread, the Wild are tryin' to recouperate from the last couple defeats. I am watchin' both the East and the West with interest; the leagues are going to come down to the wire. Wild better TRADE for offense because we eat nuts when it comes to offense. Enough of that nonsense.

The caps lost against the sharks , that's why I'm not too worried , they aren't that good of a team this year , Ovie just scored his 23rd last night. Keep the faith my friend , the bolts are going to win the south east.
