Sadly the Bruins have now surpassed the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics turning losing into an artform. That's alright I can always rewatch highlights from when they went to the cup and then lost to Edmondton Oilers.

It's ok Luke. I'm a Ranger fan and most of us still think it's 1994. I watch the Sports Illustrated highlight tape of their playoff run that year before the start of every season. Hasn't worked yet but I'll keep tryin.

Byfuglien only had the one big game against Vancouver where he scored a hat-trick. He's -3 for the postseason and has just 4 goals. I think I was right to leave him out of the mentionables (Toews, Hossa, Kane, Sharp, Campbell, Keith, Seabrook). Don't let the one big game fool you. He is not yet near being as good as the 13 forwards named to team USA for the Olympics. The US team was chosen perfectly.

Well I have been wrong this entire playoffs but I am pulling to see the Hawks and Canadiens a original six final that would be cool

Byfuglien is a critical component to that offence, IMO. I'd like to see him throw his weight around a little bit more but his game is nice as it is.

After smashing a bottle of Jaeger last night, I have come to the conclusion that I hate living here in Boston .In conclusion I am moving to Houston in 2 months, so I can watch the Stars play over in Dallas and I like Western Conference hockey better. Plus Houston has a decent minor league team that is the farm team for the Wild, go Aeros

An air conditioning business just opened up here, and they are having a BBQ. I decide I want a hamburger, so I put on my Flyers hat and go out the door. When I get there, first person I see is some guy in a Canadiens t-shirt. He said the Flyers were going down, I told him the fairy tale is over. But, at least the burger was good.

Determination, hustle ,, timely goals ,, great goaltending ( maybe more on the Montreal side) ,, NEVER QUIT ... Both these team deserve to be there... If 7 or 8 are not supposed to play in the Conf finals,,, then why do they play the first two rounds??? Neither the Flyers nor the Habs will give a flying fuck what rank the other side is come Stanley Cup. No matter how much I despise the Habs ,,, I will root for them in the Finals if it be them.

The Canadiens are the eighth seed. They both had 88 points, but the Flyers are seventh because they won more games (I think).

Your right again Plasma. Flyers had 2 more wins. So maybe Montreal makes history.

Not to mention Montreal played the first seed Caps in the first round. I'm a dope.
