NFL team of the decade

There isn't a right answer to this question as everybody has a different criteria. Some look at wins while other championships. It's similar to the MVP award debate where some say it should go to the best player while others say it should go to the player who means the most to his team. As for the team of the decade I have to go with the Patriots

Team of the decade? Really? After one season and before a champion is decided? I'm guessing that you mean from 2000-2009. In that case there isn't really any debate that the Patriots were the "Team Of The Decade". It all comes down to Championships. The Raiders had more wins in the "70's" than anybody. Dallas and Miami had to be pretty close. The Steelers are considered the "Team of the 70's". The Cowboys and Dolphins both had two Championships, the Steelers had four. The Cowboys played in five Super Bowls.

So there you go Steelers fans, Andro Ry has revoked your claim to the team of any decade title.

Patriots for the AFC and the Saints for the NFC

It's the Patriots, hands down.

Theyu have appeared in the most Super Bowls and are the only dynasty of the decade, being the only team to win two SB's in a row. And if that's not enough, they have beaten the Steelers every time it counts, in the playoffs.

Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers for winning Super Bowl XLV.

Congratulaions for Aaron Rodgers for winning the MVP award.

My vote would be a four way tie! The Lions, Browns, and Bengals for sucking ass so bad over the past decade & the Chattanooga Chickens (they are a little known NFL team that doesn't get as much exposure as the rest) for going 159-1 over the past 10 years! Their only loss came when they ran out of feed in the 3rd quarter against the Packers back in '09!

Patriots : they played 4 SB and won 3 of them.
