Nfl 2008

couldn't find a new thread on this or last years?! so here it is

with all the drama lately, its only fitting to talk about Favre's possible (and more than likely) comeback. . .

it seems absurd, but i think he comes back, and NOT as a Packer!

I think GB is trying everything to put a spin on this to avoid looking like A-holes, but they are too late. . . all their public comments when this was first being ruined make it VERY clear that Favre was NOT being welcomed back. its like they were trying to sweep him under the rug. . . WTF?!?!

I hope he comes back and sticks it to them!

however, i believe he IS on the cover of Madden this year. . . and those guys haven't done well!

Pancha,

Fave has been known to waiver each year for the last two as to whether to retire or keep playing for another year....He retired..."officially". The Green Bay Packers moved on and so should Brett because he has embarrassed himself by contemplating a comeback and asking for an unconditional release. I say if he wants to come back he should....but as a bench player since the team has slated Aaron Rogers as their starting Q.B. ....otherwise stay retired and enjoy the future with your ****** nad status as a sure Hall-Of- Famer.

If the Packers truly have to get rid of him to move on they should trade Brett to San Diego that way the only way they see him again would be in the super bowl. Yes I know the bolts have Philip Rivers, but i think Brett would make them instant favorites for a long play-off run, plus it would give Rivers more time to recover from his acl injury
