Can you imagine the rivalry between Miami and New York once the Knicks get Carmello and another year together for both teams?

yes i can. this will be great battles between them. hehe but can you imagine the rivalry between cleveland and miami when cleveland has a team again in about 5-6 years:)
for now i liked the block by lebron on turiaf. and the allstar starters are set. have no arguments dispite i wanted to see kevin love or blake griffin as a starter over carmelo anthony. and the chinese voted yao in for not playing:)

Retarded. Gotta love fan voting and how retarded the concept is. Or maybe it's a reflection of how retarded the fans are.

But if you looked at the options for centers in the west, there really wasn't great options. I think the all-star ballot should combine the center and the forward positions. Centers are starting to become a dying position in the league.

Players should have to play a minimum amount of games to be eligible for the ASG. There is more than enough guys in the west to replace Yao. Gasol, Duncan, Griffin, Love, Odom etc. Put one of these guys at C and **** Yao Ming so he doesn't ever get on a ballot again.

Kobe is in his 13th straight ASG. Only 3 people (Jerry West, Karl Malone and Shaq) have done it 14 straight seasons and nobody has done it 15 straight. I think it's pretty safe to say he'll be the first :D Maybe if he plays until he's 38 he can match Kareem's 19 ASG appearances. Who knows? It is a popularity contest after all.

Ok, the All-Star game voting is ******* me off. How come everoyne in China can vote and make Yao Ming the most undeserving All Star in history, but last year I couldn't fucking vote for DeRozan in the Slam Dunk Contest because I am Canadian?

I think you answered your own question. We are below chinamen.

did pietrus have to take a shower for punching kg in the face? i didnt see the game just the summary can anybody tell me? and what the hack was kg thinking? a punch between the legs during a jumpshot. come on. normally i like garnett but that was just cowerdly. did you all see westbrooks triple double? 35pts 13ast and 13rebs. crazy. oh jeah and the heat win without bosh and wade:) thank you lebron. and nice to see the lakers lose against the kings.

Kevin Garnett is a bitch and when Wade is out...the Heat still win. Lebron is MVP.

D-Rose is MVP. With the win against Orlando last night the Bulls are on a four game winning streak. Currently they sit third in the east despite the fact they haven't been at full strength the entire season. Boozer missed the first month of the season and once he returned Joakim Noah went out went out with an injury that so far has sidelined him for two months. The one constant though is D-Rose and he is carrying this team right now and is a legitimate MVP contender. The Bulls are going to be scary good once they get Boozer and Noah together in the lineup, they're going to make some noise in the playoffs. And did I mention the fact that they are ranked first in opponents' FG percentage and are third in opponents' scoring, coach Thibs has them playing shut down defense.

That's right, other Ice... at 31-14, the Bulls aren't getting the credit they very well deserve. It was confusing that top FA's last year balked at coming to Chicago, and it's even more confusing now. Chicago has a clearly brighter future than any other team in the league with cash and picks coupled with a legit contending team.

By the way, Derrick Rose would like Lebron, D. Wade, Bosh, Joe Johnson, and Amare, and Melo know that since you didn't respect him as an All-Star, maybe you will as MVP.

Lebron beat the Pistons. Not the Heat.

Which is why I referred to them as the Miami Cavaliers.

Just because Lebron put up great numbers against the horrible Pistons(and you can also include Toronto), that doesn't make him MVP.

Anyone see that game against New York? Lebron trying to play power forward is quite funny. You would think he would developed a post game by now. :dunno:
