Most Brutal/Disturbing Movies ever

Cannibal Holocaust is sick with the animal cruelty involved.

I think it might still be banned here in Britain, If not the animal scenes are surely cut out.

The Saw trilogy and Hostel movies are gory but good. :)

Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom of Pier Paolo Pasolini. Definatly THE most disturbing movie of all time in my opinion. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073650/)

Clockworth Orange was definatly disturbing back in its days... But i don't think it can be considered disturbing by nowadays standards.

Honestly, i can't remember the last time i have seen a movie that disturbed me that much (and i watch a lot of movies!).

I should try to find Cannibal Holocost :dunno:

Faces of Death is pretty bad. But the worst I've ever seen is Traces of Death. That series has real death scenes from all over the world, including what a victim of a South American death squad looks like after he's dead. It has human fetuses in jars and some things that I couldn't take and my friends and I turned it off. Traces of Death is illegal in some countries but there's a couple stores around here that have them.

Ive saw the first Faces of death movie.

most of the scenes in that were fake werent they?

didnt like seeing cattle in the slaughter houses thou :(

Yeah most of the scenes in FoD were re-enactments. The slaughter house was pretty graphic, but they have vids like that on YouTube of cattle being killed by a captive bolt pistol.

Yea, those are nasty! I saw one where a guy was using a flame thrower type thing on a live pig, to basically cook the pig alive. I damn near puked. I was actually mad after I saw that shit!

As a kid I was greatly disturbed by FoD, especially a scene where a man was split open by horses tied to his limbs. Even though it turns out that many of the scenes are fake I still think it's pretty graphic. May have to check out Traces of Death one day.

I got 2 more that I'm surprised no one mentioned yet:

1. Schindler's List. If you want to see a realistic portayal of what happened during the Holocaust, that's your movie.

2. Saving Private Ryan. As close to war as you can get. I still remember a woman almost puking because it was so violent, namely the opening scene.

There's a video on the internet of a guy being pulled apart by ATV's. It's not fake either.
