and by the way, Herring looked like crap because he had a torn MCL. He is not that bad at all. He is a way better fighter than he came off as... but he was injured. And dont forget, he used to fight in Pride that allowed knees to the head.

I'm pretty impressed with Rashad's stand up actually. He looke good; light on his feet, and constantly circling rather than moving straight forward and back. He's definately improving his game and becoming a more exciting fighter than where he started at.
I hadn't heard about Herring's injury before this. Is the MCL injury what kept him from having any takedown defense, because he wasn't even trying to keep from being taken down. That was a crappy fight overall. O'Brian didn't do much but take him down and control him, much like an old Rashad Evans fight! :1orglaugh
You mean they allow knees to the head of a downed opponent right? UFC allows them standing, but Herring was never in a position to use a knee to the head when they were on the mat anyway.
As for what I was saying about Herring woriking his jab from below his waiste, and dropping it even when he had his left up, I was thinking about that, and at least he works the jab. Not a lot of people do. What he said in his interview after the fight about being on the ground too much was still crap though. Of course O'Brian is going to fight his fight rather than Herring's fight. It's up to Herring to keep him from doing that if he expects to win.
I hope he has a better showing next time out. I was expecting quite a bit from this fight because of the talk around him. Hopefully he'll be injury free for it.

As far as Rashad Evans goes he was super boring when he 1st started out, but he did look Impressive the other night, wow did he KO that guy ouch, But my main complaint about UFC is Dana White Protecting all the TUF'ers Let Rashad fight Liddell the only TUFer to fight a headliner in the UFC was Forrest Griffin when IMHO he beat Tito 2 rounds to 1 but other then that I cant think of a main TUFer in a major bout against a top contender.

I think the Rampage/Eastman fight has the potential to be really good. The Cro Cop fight, on the other hand, has the potential to be very quick.

I was at UFC 67, overall a good show. It was good to be there for rampage and cro cops UFC debut although I was pissed off about the title fight being changed to non title...

Damn I don't have showtime. I heard the women's fight was the best fight on the card. As for what he did to get DQ'ed, I think Frank threw a knee while Renzo was on the ground? But I also heard that Renzo had dominate position so I'm trying to figure out what exactly happened.
Pride 33 is this weekend. Everyone better attend or order it on PPV!
That Pride event left me speechless. That was probably the best MMA event ive seen. Unreal... Wanderlei lost, Gomi lost, Lil Nog lost, Misaki lost...and they were great fights.
