"the vietnam guy" ???You really don;t get to pick where they send you. I was a 19d cav scout so we wound up in the thick of the fight almost everytime. I have to agree with the vietnam guy, combat is nothing that anyone WISHES they went in for. It's scarry as shit and is pretty tough to see a fellow brother get shot right next to you and have HIS blood on YOUR dcu/acu.
