wow, i post a thread about how i have posted ( in spanish) on a spanish message board and many people have detected that spanish is not my native language, then i get neg rep, pm's and responses calling me all kinds of racial names, i mean really nasty stuff.
just because my spanish isn't perfect.
and its clear i'm not from there area of the world
and how do a lot of you respond? you start giving me shit too.
huh, i guess hostility is just the way of the world these days.
maybe its just that a lot of you have been trained to think racism is ok when its against certain peoples.

Most of those posts in Spanish are about how some of the members personally know the cam girls in question. It's nothing more than a thread and a bunch of guys gawking and shit, nothing more. What happens is you post here saying you were called names. I responded by saying if you post there some of the nonsense blather you tend to post here (clumsy ooofa Jersey shit) I can see it being met with insults and criticisms.

Hmmm don't know you but I'm fairly certain if not absolutely positive MP you would need a whole lot of luck and I would need a whole lot of bad luck for a situation like you describe to end favorably for you. That's really about the nicest, fairest way I can put it.

I will say, however, from YouTube and message board groups and the like that as someone like me who is currently immersed in Spanish language lessons now, and with help from other friends that while I do love Colombia and think parts of Latin America are VERY interesting & beautiful and culture-filled (the same way Asia and Africa and other 3rd world countries also are), I don't know if I would ever go there myself. I will admit that I've noticed most of the time they're more then not happy and are very vocal about disliking an American like me, and they seem to think that Gringo really hurts feelings when I just personally find it silly & ignorant name-calling. However, I have seen biggoted members of my family use racial slurs like the s-word however, before, and they know I disapprove of it badly. But it's mostly Brazilians and some Colombians and Argentenians that I've run into online (I am not trying to generalize really but those are the three they were always from, although once Chilie as well). And I know there are millions of them that are great, but even still it has happened multiple times over the last few years so I've grown rather dis-heartened towards Latin Americans in general, I'll admit. But I'll be the bigger man and let it slide and will keep it to myself.
I really wish there wasn't so much hate in this world, after all was said & done. Brazilians inparticular have told me that I'm a"pinky" (oh no, better go cry now---not) and that one said everyone in North America who claims to be Caucasian has disgustingly pink-toned skin and is ugly, ect. I told him he is ignorant if he believe so. Sorry just how I feel. So in a rather small sense I can somewhat, however, see what the original poster is getting at, as once your from the U.S. (and most of the times in North America in general), South American's won't give you a chance to get to know you better without REALLY assuming this & that. So sorry, but it is my perverbial two cents from meeting some here and multiple online messages. However I don't agree respectfully with everything the original poster said, but I can somewhat see what he means. I love & respect a lot of Latin Americans or whatever they prefered to be called as a majority, as we're all human beings on this bickering planet, but many I will personally admit have WAY too much of a weird perception and way of going around talking openly Xenophobically to us American's. Again just my opinion, and I don't really agree with everything stated here.

I'll try to explain it now that I've sobered up a bit.
MP says Spanish speaking people are at least as racist, or even more racist than Americans.
MP says the way he got treated on another (Spanish) message board proves his point.
MP cannot show us the proof, because it's not allowed on this board & even if he could, I couldn't confirm or deny it, simply because I can't speak/read Spanish.
These little facts (not being able to see the proof & not being able to read it even if they could see it) apply to a majority of the members on this board, yet everyone who has posted in this thread either agrees with MP or claims he's wrong.
