Megyn Kelly: Jesus and Santa were white.

If it's so clear that she's wrong on both counts, why can't any of you folks say it? Still waiting for that information to be declassified by the DNC?

It's been said, repeatedly. Keep asking the same question over and over, typical wing nut tactic.

It's clear that you have no clue what I did or didn't do. But hey, if that's what you think, great. I had a reason for asking for clarification, not reading the article wasn't it, but you think you're scoring some kind of point by dancing on it, keep it up, you just look foolish. It's really not surprising that you don't understand why Kelly was wrong, after all, the fact that you're foolish is well established.

You said you were irritated and you're throwing a tantrum, pretty good ways to try to shut down a discussion. You throw around labels and make accusations you can't prove. It's pretty clear that you have nothing but unfounded objections, and those are based on your own bigotry, otherwise you would see perfectly why Kelly was wrong.

Excuse me, but the ones making accusations are the liberals who are calling her racist for saying that. We've already said how Kelly could be correct, as per the Saint's Greek heritage and the looks of people indigenous to the Levant who haven't mixed much with Arabs and the U.S. government's own legal of definition of Whiteness.

Liberals have STILL not been able to make the case for why she's incorrect, only offering up outrage.

Lastly, I'm getting flack from the both of you, while NEITHER one of you have mounted any substantial argument.

GO AHEAD and quote it then. You keep dancing around saying it's been said already, but you haven't offered up anything. Go ahead and do that.

Okay, if you had left your last sentence off, this would have been a moderately good post.

So, I engage you on this, stay engaged in the debate, bring up new questions, but I'm apparently a liberal who wants no part of it?

_I_ have a problem with her description of Santa and Jesus. Not because I'm a liberal, but because it is absolutely idiotic to think that it is news worthy to talk about Santa's ethnicity. I don't care what was said afterwards, or what her intentions were. I am very convinced that she had no thought in her head that Santa was based on a dude from what is now turkey, she was thinking the holly, jolly old Santa that has a red nose and white beard. She was offended at the idea that he should be called anything but white. THAT is the only issue here.

Jesus was born to Jews in a Jewish part of the world. She was offended that Jesus be considered anything other than white. That's problematic, and someone who is a news anchor on a major network should not speak in ridiculous absolutes like this.

So, there it is. I do want part of this, I'm not a Liberal, I haven't distinguished between a Conservative and a Liberal argument, I merely addressed what she said, and how it's relevant. Think you could do the same?

You are a clown. You weren't engaged in anything, you said YOURSELF that you hadn't said anything relevant! After that your first reply is not even to the topic, but to attack me saying that I shouldn't bring up the liberal angle to this, even though the original article was in a liberal magazine and Kelly was attacked by liberals WHO HAD NO ARGUMENT for why she was so horribly wrong.

Gee, no political motive or basis for questioning liberals and their motives for doing so.

And then once again, you show your limited faculties. Kelly mentioned Jesus in an off comment about the SLATE article on why Santa Claus should no longer be depicted as a White male. She said that S.N. the historical character was a White person and the mythical character was also drawn as a White person. That just because it angers Aisha Harris to see a White male face on such a common character, it doesn't mean that it needs to be expunged from the cultural sphere.

Lastly, Jesus was a levantine man from the per-Arab era. Taking a look at the neighboring Levantine ethnic groups who have the least historical admixture from Arabs, it's actually quite plausible that Jesus could have looked like a White guy. Under U.S. government classification, he would have been a White guy. Though I've said myself that classification would not be in keeping with what a lot of White people would see as White. But again, I'm not making that my primary argument but I included it anyway because liberals (especially the folks here) have not offered up much argument for why she is WRONG.

She's wrong for the same reason you and Will E Worm are so often wrong, you state your opinions as fact. You don't get to do that, whether that opinion is "Jesus and Santa are white", or "liberals hate white people".

Opinion? You mean the fact that S.N. was Greek? Or the fact that Jesus was from the pre-Arab Levant? Meaning that he very well could have been White by American standards.

Still waiting on that quote. You know the one that had been explained waaay back.

When Santa Claus moved to the North Pole with flying reindeer his basis on St. Nick was pretty much done. Jesus wasn't a WASP, and that's what most white folks think of when they're going on about their race. You keep waiting on that quote, friend, that you didn't get it the first, second, and third times is a pretty good indication you wouldn't get it another time. Keep spewing out your opinion like it's a fact, and keep being irritated, indignant, and just downright mad, people will keep calling out the bullshit whether you like it or not.

I'm a reasonable Conservative.

I don't plan to argue any points about this. I also don't plan to read any articles about the historical background of a fictional character. Megyn Kelly looked like a giant fucking moron in the entire segment.

That is all.

When Santa Claus flew to the north pole with flying reindeer he was drawn by Nast, using EUROPEAN folklore. He was a White character there as well.

But yeah, Santa isn't White you know….it's just too damn racist to see a White face on Santa. Even though no one has a problem with Santa Claus being depicted as black, asian etc. It's still too damn much for Aisha Harris, one of SLATE's many resident anti-White liberals. She'd prefer it be penguin rather than an "old white male."

And liberals decide it's Megyn Kelly who needs to be called out? Disgusting.

I'm White, from Europe and I'm not a WASP. Most White Americans aren't WASPs for that matter. The most famous portraits of Jesus are by Italian, Spanish, Russian and Greek artists…NONE of whom are WASPS.

You only reveal your prejudice, Xfire, not that of Megyn Kelly or White people at large.

Lastly, I'm still waiting on your quote. If you duck out out on it again, its yet more proof that you're wrong and cannot admit it. Just like you couldn't admit you didn't bother to read the article relating to the link YOU posted.

But that all goes back to the behavior we see from liberals here. Attack non-liberals first, investigate second.

B.S. she did. She actually has some historical and legal basis for her claim, while liberals have next to nothing. She didn't care enough for the issue to continue the debate.

/Still no quote from xfire. He didn't read his own link and is as wrong as the reactionary liberals who attacked Kelly in the first place.

What's disgusting is how much of a victim you have the need to feel. I'm white, I don't hate white people, but I am big enough to see that the historic representation of Santa Claus is pretty exclusive and that everyone should be free to see a fictional character the way they choose. Keep fighting your pretend war, keep stating your opinions as facts, you just look incredibly foolish the way you label and try to divide people who have rightly identified Kelly's typical Fox News racism.

Yeah, that's good enough for me.

Take your Conservative and Liberal lines, write them down on a piece of paper, roll it up tightly, and then cram it up your ass. I don't care whatsoever what your retort is. Something about bailing out, or typical Liberal thinking, or whatever. You're not arguing a Conservative perspective, you're arguing a moronic perspective. You're not identifying Liberal talking points, you're identifying things you don't like.

Poor work, BioD. You really don't look terribly clever here. But, please. Tell us all again how you won, and how your point is completely correct. It'll do nothing but reinforce your position.

Pretty exclusive? Are you insane? No one is stopping anyone from depicting either man as non-White. IN FACT, it was the liberal Aisha Harris who was saying that the common depiction of Santa Claus as a White male annoyed her and that it should now be a penguin. She's being exclusive there by calling for the historical representation to be expunged.

I'm calling out liberals who attacked Megyn Kelly, mostly as part of a partisan push against FOX News.

Why don't you stick to stick to making polls about who you dislike the most…sell that to Xfire here who says that people are too divisive. Both of you got caught out trying to spin b.s. in your favor.

Almost forgot: what's disgusting is that you still duck the quote even though you were asked to produce it several times. You and lurkingdirk deserve one another, cowards.

Yet you did. For seven pages. On a fucking porn forum.

You're a fucking disgrace. You didn't win any arguments here. You just made Conservatives look like fucking crazy blowhards bereft of any common sense.

"You really, really need to lay off the liberal vs. conservative rhetoric. You're almost never correct in your vast generalisations, and it makes you look incredibly foolish. Perhaps you could find additional words to use beyond Liberal.

Merely a suggestion. "

There you go. Trying to make it seem like there was no ideological bent to the story when the article was written by a liberal on a liberal website, Kelly talks about it on FOX and liberals erupt. Even though if anyone has a leg to stand on, it's Megyn Kelly. Then it gets posted here and liberals don't want to actually talk about whether she may have been correct, or even the article she was referring to, but just to attack her and FOX news and it's mostly non-liberal viewership.

1. I didn't write seven pages.
2. I don't care what I make Conservatives look like, I'm not a conservative and I don't typically vote for them.
3. All you have are insults, I'm the only one commenting that actually looked up the article in question and who also bothered to see if there could be some truth to her statement.

The article just made some suggestions but Fox News got artificially outraged about it and Megyn started to talk about Santa Claus. As if there were facts about him. Facts about a person who DO NOT EXISTS. On a fucking NEWS channel !!!

What is Fox gonna do next, what will be the title of their next segments ?
Orcs are black ?
The Grinch is a Liberal ?
Bruce Wayne is a registered Republican ?

Artificially outraged versus your Authentic outrage? How many FOX news threads have you made here? You must go out of your way to find them seeing that FOX doesn't' have nearly the same presence in France as it does in the U.S.

SLATE is a liberal site that attacks FOX quite a bit, Megyn Kelly was referring to an article (one that it's clear many liberals here didn't even bother reading) saying why Santa Claus would be better depicted as a penguin than as a White male because it makes the author uncomfortable. We know what Kelly's response was, and liberals seized on that one comment…even though they don't have much of an argument for why she is oh so wrong. I already stated why history and our census definitions can make a reasonable case for why she's correct, especially seeing that liberals for ALL their anger and mocking of Megyn Kelly and FOX, can't produce one themselves.
