2K on the dreamcast...online! i remember playing my first game and losing 21-7 and not being mad just being AMAZED that i played someone else from somewhere else.i loved that game and i'm looking on ebay for a dreamcast and for 2k football. WHY i dunno it's probably such an outdated looking game.

Jason Z to answer your question. 2k football is dead because EA has the exclusive rights to the NFL and no other game can use NFL players.
the MVP baseball series is dead because the MLB right are exclusive to whoever makes the MLBthe SHOW game. i think it's sony or a division of sony?

Not entirely true, the way the MLB contract was drawn up basically means that anyone can make a MLB baseball game except for EA. That's why Sony has their MLB the Show franchise and 2K Sports still makes Major League Baseball 2Kwhatever. 2K Sports initiated the license to get back at EA for swiping the NFL license.

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate it. One of my favorite games was 2k6 I think it had T.O. on the cover and I thought the graphics were pretty good.. I really liked how you could play against carmen electra. I also like how you could collect points and buy things and you got your own pad. It was pretty cool. Anybody remember that?

I believe that the contract stipulates that only 2K can develop MLB games that are not first party games, which means that limits everyone but Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft outside of 2K.

That would explain the presence of Sony's The Show, Nintendo's Backyard Series or whatever it is called these days, and the 2K MLB series (MLB and The Bigs) as the only games available.

wondering if anyone was having problems with the game freezing up on them. I read online that it is a common problem on all systems. I have the PS3, I have read that there is a patch out for this problem, but can't find anything to download. I tried playing an online game in hopes of being prompted to download the update (just like it did for the roster patch) but had no luck. can anyone help?

lets face it Madden sucks big style i really thought (well hope) that 09 would be the one for me something to enjoy and want to play well it's not. so long story short i bought Blitz for the 360 as the new one is soon to be out and yes it not madden in some of the nicer point but its quick and fun sort of a cross between fifa streets and madden.

I would like the game alot better if my qb could go one game without throwing at least 4 interceptions. The computer players come out of nowhere to make picks all the time, and it gets really old.
